Good site with beautiful lake
We traveled without prior notice just before the Pentecost weekend. Very positive that you can choose freely among the unoccupied spots. This allows everyone to decide whether they want to stay in the sun or in the shade. Even with full occupancy, there are enough toilets and showers available, alwa… More

Beautiful Short Vacation
We were at the square for Easter for the 3rd time and it was very nice as always. Toilets and showers were clean and nice staff. What more could you want...

Only still GOOD for permanent or seasonal campers, as the former tourist sites are now almost entirely occupied - hardly any space left for vacationers
There are 400 tourist sites indicated - but where are they? Almost all previous tourist sites are permanently occupied. It has been suggested to look for a spot in the area of the yellow wash house. There you can find space with a tent or a small motorhome, but not with a caravan, as even in this ar… More

Holiday with Dog
Very nice location in the forest. Invites you to hike in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. Friendly owners. Dogs are welcome.

Nature-Connected Campsite
Unfortunately very outdated in all areas except for the playground

Pretty Worn Out
The place is large and effort is made. But the place is quite old and especially the sanitary facilities need urgent attention. Unfortunately, there is hardly anything for children under 3 years old in the playground. There is no fixed spot assignment; you have to find your own spot.

Harz with Heart
A campsite located in the heart of the Harz, adjacent to the forest and beautifully situated by the Pixhaier pond. The few permanent pitches do not disturb the splendid view. Clausthal can be conveniently reached by bicycle within 20 minutes. Due to the exposed location, the hiking trails are direct… More

Gastronomic offers
The Prahljust campsite welcomes its holiday guests in a wonderfully peaceful location on the edge of the forest with attractive amenities. Families with children and travellers with dogs spend an eventful stay here, as do nature lovers and anglers. And in the cold season, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy exciting snow adventures in the Upper Harz. Far away from the traffic, the Prahljust campsite offers peace and relaxation between the imperial city of Goslar and the legendary "Harzer Hexenstieg" hiking trail.
The 600 comfortable pitches are spread across meadows, some of which are terraced. Deciduous and coniferous trees add visual interest and create space for individuality. The site has free WLAN reception in some areas. Cleanliness is a top priority in all areas. The sanitary facilities are barrier-free and equipped with individual washing cubicles, washing machines and tumble dryers. As many camping holidaymakers prefer to cook for themselves in their motorhome or caravan, fresh ingredients for daily use are available all year round in the shop on site. Many guests appreciate the practical bread roll service in the morning. If the kitchen in your own accommodation remains cold, the menu in the site's own restaurant offers national and international delicacies. The snack bar offers a range of snacks to satisfy any hunger in between meals. The idyllic location of the campsite right on the banks of the Pixhaier Teich pond makes for refreshing swimming fun in the summer months. Dogs are also allowed to splash around in the water at the designated area. The cosy sunbathing lawn offers sun-seekers and playing children enough space to enjoy their stay to the full. The playground on the campsite also makes children's eyes light up. An indoor pool, a sauna and several table tennis tables round off the facilities. Holidaymakers travelling with a motorhome will be delighted with the modern disposal facilities for their vehicle. At the central campfire site, guests at the Prahljust campsite enjoy rounding off the day in a convivial atmosphere.
The spruce forest alone, which surrounds the Prahljust campsite in Clausthal-Zellerfeld, is ideal for a walk or a bike ride. The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities, from a petting zoo to tennis and horse riding. The "Harzer Hexenstieg" trail, which is around 100 kilometres long in total, leads hiking enthusiasts across the Harz Mountains and over the legendary Brocken mountain under the motto "devilishly beautiful and hellishly exciting". Along the way you will find medieval half-timbered towns, the wildly romantic Bode Valley and the Rübeländer stalactite caves. There are also numerous reminders of the mining era. For children and adults alike, for example, a tour through the 19-Lachter tunnel is an exciting experience. In the cold season, winter guests can easily reach the ski lift just 5 km away. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will be delighted by the perfectly groomed trails that lead right past the campsite.
