Campingplatz Oberwesel am Rhein

This is one of the most beautiful campsites in Germany. Great location, right by the Rhine, separated from the B9 and the train tracks by a football field. Extremely friendly and dedicated operators. Everything you need in terms of sanitary facilities, supply and disposal, and cleanliness. Everything is lovingly designed. No noise, pure relaxation. I will definitely come back!

The campsite has an excellent location right on the banks of the Rhine with access for swimming. Our pitch was very narrow for the caravan. It barely fits between the neighbors' caravans. Without a mover, it would have been difficult. The location is top-notch, there's always something to observe, whether it's trains on the other side of the Rhine or the many boats passing by here. The sanitary facilities are in containers and quite new, but not necessarily clean. Sometimes there was a lack of toilet paper and paper towels to dry hands. There is room for improvement here. The campsite is run by two women who are friendly and helpful. The small beer garden offers food, cakes, and drinks. Highly recommend. The reception is located in a small wooden hut and seems somewhat makeshift. The bike path along the Rhine is not very pleasant, as it always runs along the main road.

We stood with our RV directly by the banks of the Rhine. The view is simply priceless. The toilets were okay, unfortunately a bit far away. Dog-friendly site! The price-performance ratio was excellent! Anytime again!

Great view of the Rhine. The spot only has 2 rows, so you actually always have a great view of the water. The area is kept simple, which was fine with us. Shopping opportunities are directly across the street. The bike path runs right above the area, and you can ride nicely along the Rhine (e.g. to Loreley). Unfortunately, we can't say anything about the sanitary facilities because we were there during Corona and could only use self-sufficient facilities. However, the outdoor area (water supply and sewage) was always clean and tidy. A bit older and very simple, but functional. The staff were always friendly.
