Beautiful place for peace-seeking adults ...
Superb10
Reisezeiten
... this is how the site is advertised. And for all those who cannot look beyond their own plate: The bank by the lake is very steep and therefore not suitable for small children. Dogs are also not allowed on or in the lake. This is purely for insurance reasons. We have vacationed here twice. The operators are very nice and really put in a lot of effort. The sanitary facilities are top-notch and there is a bread roll service.

Great campsite in the middle of Dahner Felsenland
Superb10
Reinhard
Very nice operators. Always friendly and helpful. Great location right by the Moorsee. Sanitary facilities are clean and functional. Excellent roll service. In our eyes, this is clearly the nicest campsite in the Pfälzer Wald. We always love coming back to this place. The concept of peace and relaxation at this campsite contributes to its pleasant distinction from other (partially fully and permanently animated) campsites.

My Favorite in the Palatinate Forest
Very good8
Andrea
I just stayed for 5 overnight stays at the site and felt more than comfortable. It is very quiet there, the location is ideal for hiking and cycling, and the operators are super friendly and helpful. In the mornings, there is a bread roll service with a good selection, and you can also buy ice cream and drinks. Wi-Fi is definitely improvable, but it is also nice not to be constantly reachable 😉. I will definitely come back here!

Very nice and well-organized place

Jürgen
Everything was perfect here. It doesn't always have to be the most modern to be good. Cleanliness matters. Very pleasant also to be without kids - I'm a father of two in case someone screams about being child-unfriendly!!. Service was just right - I don't need all-inclusive round the clock. I will gladly come back. Ideal as a starting point for biking and hiking.

The perfect spot for peace seekers in the Pfalz
Superb10
Sven
We booked a spot for 8 overnight stays and got a spot right by the pond. You won't find a quieter spot than this throughout the whole Pfalz area. The concept of spatial separation between dog owners and non-dog owners certainly contributes to this, which we found very pleasant, after previous experiences at other sites. Very friendly staff/owner. Sanitary facilities may be closed due to Corona and are not rated. A clear recommendation for those seeking peace.

Reply to Mr. Buchmann
Superb10
Dominik S.
It is a pity that Mr. Buchmann did not understand the concept. It is one of the few campsites that clearly says: from 18 years and for those seeking peace. Everyone (including a family man) must accept this. Therefore, giving a bad review for it is very poor style and not fair. I am very glad that such offers exist and that the operator also clearly positions himself. Mr. Buchmann, please inform yourself beforehand. If you made a mistake (possibly overlooked during the reservation?) and then received the pressure from your own family, please stand by your MISTAKE. Please reconsider your unfair and shameless assessment.

Quiet place with restrictions

Walli
The site is optimal for hiking in the Palatinate Forest. The pitches are very cramped and not nicely located. Permanent campers have far nicer spots. The federal road to and from Dahn is heavily trafficked by trucks and quite noisy, the sanitary facilities are outdated but clean, Unfortunately, the operator does not seem very welcoming. The good food in the beer garden is highly recommended.
