Unfriendly reception and poor/slow to no Wi-Fi

We got this site recommended by a colleague. Those seeking tranquility are exactly right here. The site is very suitable as a starting point for bike tours or canoeing, as it is located directly by the lake. There were deductions regarding shopping facilities on the site and mobile coverage. There is a small farm market, but for proper shopping, you need to go to the village, about 5 minutes, or to the neighboring village, about 10 minutes. Regarding mobile connectivity. I had issues with both networks, T-Mobile and O2. It works, but slowly. There is Wi-Fi on the site, but we did not try it. We will definitely come back.

Good place Friendly reception. Very nice location by the Lühe. Central location as many attractions are nearby. The Elbe, Stade, Buxtehude, and Hamburg are quickly accessible. The ferry terminal for the Lühe-Schulau ferry is about 4 kilometers away. There, one can watch the ship traffic on the Elbe very nicely (large container ships and cruise ships, e.g., the AIDA fleet). Unfortunately, I couldn't set up a front tent at the assigned plot as there were stone slabs under the grass area. Let's choose a different plot next time. Otherwise, a nice campsite with delicious food. Sanitary facilities small but very clean at all times. Despite some shortcomings, we are very happy to come back to this campsite.

Very good location for cycling and delicious rolls. That's pretty much what distinguishes the place. Okay.... the staff is very nice too, but the pitch structure is practically nonexistent (muddy with little rain), untidy long-term camper area. No nighttime peace, barrier open... workers and early shift thunder across the site. Uncomfortable sanitary facilities. Noisy location due to heavily trafficked surrounding streets.

The place itself is very tastefully laid out and designed. Not easily usable in rainy weather. Located in an area with a lot of traffic on surrounding roads and disturbed by several permanent campers who even commute to work during the supposed night quiet hours. Overall, a poorly maintained site, spartan sanitary facilities, showers sometimes with cold water (tank empty?). For us, the best part was the delicious rolls and the very nice staff.

We were here for the 2nd time and will come again. Very nice camping spots, sanitary facilities very clean. The owners and all their helpers are super nice. We and our dog felt very comfortable and had a wonderful vacation. We would love to come back.

This campsite is great. Especially quiet and super for families with dogs. Sanitary facilities are very good and the pitches are very nice. Lots of greenery around and very friendly staff. We will definitely come back.

The place is quiet, as the individual areas are separated by hedges. Everyone is friendly and helpful. There is a bread roll service and homemade pizza on Fridays. Everything feels very family-oriented. There are also sleeping cabins and a shepherd's wagon available for non-campers.
