Flat meadow with old trees and newer plantings, located between the Moselle River on one side and Moselle-Laach and a road on the other side. Pitch areas near the river are mostly occupied by permanent campers. The Moselle cycling path runs through the campground.
Between Trier and Koblenz, the river is accompanied by busy roads on both sides in parts. Combined with heavy ship traffic, this situation can lead to disturbances in camping sites located by the river.

Beautiful campsite directly by the Moselle
Large pitches on grass. Quite a few permanent campers right by the Moselle, but also very nice in the second row.

Pleasant Stay
A beautiful, clean, and well-maintained campsite. Depending on where you are, however, it is very far to the sanitary facilities, as there is only one location for them.

The comfortable Nehren campsite is located on an island directly on the picturesque banks of the Moselle, close to many leisure options. The particularly quiet and relaxed atmosphere on the site and the well-kept facilities make for a varied and relaxing holiday.
The 5-hectare campsite has 130 parcelled-out pitches for holidaymakers, each offering a high degree of privacy thanks to their size of 100 m². The dog-friendly site is equipped with electricity, free-to-use sanitary facilities and optional Wi-Fi throughout the camping area. Young guests can let off steam on the play area, while golf enthusiasts can enjoy themselves on a golf course just 7.5 kilometres away. Nevertheless, the idyllic banks of the Moselle are one of the favourite spots on the site. A boat slipway makes it possible to use your own boat for excursions on the river. The idyllic location between the cities of Trier and Koblenz also offers numerous day trip destinations for every taste. In addition to hiking and cycling tours along the banks of the Moselle, excursions to the medieval imperial castle of Cochem, around 12 km away, or to the Klotten leisure and wildlife park, around 20 km away, are particularly popular visitor magnets. The centre of Koblenz, around 72 km away, is also within easy reach. The 700-year-old Marksburg Castle, the DB Museum and the Romanticum are just some of the many city sights that make a visit worthwhile whatever the weather. After an eventful day, you can treat yourself to a selection of drinks and hearty snacks from the camping snack bar.
