Site
Partly level, partly slightly sloping meadow by the river Naab, with varying high hedges and numerous deciduous and coniferous trees. The northern part of the site has sparse vegetation. Pitches for tourists are located in the area close to the river, some of them reinforced with grass pavers. Busy road on the other side of the Naab. Located on the Five Rivers Cycle Path.

A nice campsite with restrictions.
The campsite is actually quite good. The sanitary facilities are simple but good and also clean. They are cleaned twice a day. Beautiful campsite located right by the river. The spots for permanent campers are somewhat rundown and not very nice. The remaining spots further down by the river are very nice. Wonderful place, beautifully located by the river. Great food and friendly staff
Everything is great, contrary to the homepage there is also excellent Wi-Fi by the river. Only the road on the other side of the river is a little disturbing.

Great Location by the River
The place is very well kept and is located by a river. The restaurant is good and the shop offers the essentials. The showers are cramped and sometimes there is a queue when you need to use the restroom.

Pielenhofen is often referred to by locals as the pearl of the Naab Valley due to its marvellous location between rugged Jura cliffs, the surrounding forests and architectural monuments such as the impressive monastery church. Located around 4.5 km from the historic centre, the Naabtal campsite is ideal for a relaxing stay in Bavaria. The sloping 6-hectare site is partly overgrown with trees and borders the Naab river. Dogs are welcome on the pitches of up to 110 square metres with electricity. The bathing area on the Naab is a popular meeting place. Here, the shallow, sandy banks make it easy to get into the cool water. Guests are welcome to hire a canoe and explore the unspoilt banks from the water. There are plenty of opportunities for youngsters to let off steam in the large playground. There are slides, swings and climbing frames, among other things. Those who like to perfect their forehand and backhand in their free time have the opportunity to do so on the tennis court. Those seeking peace and quiet, on the other hand, can retreat to the sauna or use the solarium. Active holidaymakers can look forward to the direct connection to the Naabtal cycle path. The university city of Regensburg, which is famous for its cathedral and medieval centre, is around 17 km away.
