Flat meadow terrain with some tall deciduous trees. Views of surrounding wooded hills. Railway line and road within earshot.
Between Trier and Koblenz, the river is accompanied by busy roads, partially on both banks. Combined with heavy shipping traffic, this situation can lead to noise disturbances at campsites located by the river.

We asked very last minute for a spot by the water and got one on the side arm (no shipping traffic) the staff was very unfriendly! Nothing was described or explained. The small beach was littered, sanitary facilities mediocre. The installed containers for toilets and showers were acceptable. Washing

The riverside pitch for 52 euros was too expensive for us. Therefore, we took a standard pitch in the second row on the grass with an ACSI discount for 23 euros. Very clean washroom with great showers, though it is well over 300m away. Bakery and Edeka are about 1200m away. Wi-Fi costs extra!!! Tras

Actually a nice place in a nice location. The reception or check-in is cold and businesslike. Some people should simply choose a different profession. You don't feel welcome. The parking space itself was large enough and clean. We did not use the sanitary facilities since we were self-sufficient...

Arrival via a bridge, which is also used for departure; without control or organization. The place itself is very beautiful, although the Moselle pitches (at least this year) were quite muddy. No roll service, no immediate catering, and the sanitary facilities could be cleaner and newer.

The location on an island is beautiful. There is a marina with a restaurant and shopping options are nearby. In the morning, a baker's cart comes with rolls and cakes. Not so nice is the friendliness at check-in. The lady there is barely understandable and her sense of humor goes down to the cellar.

Those who like loud music from noon until far into the night will feel at home here. Unfortunately, it was a party for the entire long weekend. Sleep was out of the question. The sanitary facilities are not modern and not always clean. The staff is moderately friendly. At least the location on the

Despite the great location, camping here is hard to get used to. Expensive, noisy, and unfriendly. The sanitation is at least clean. Everything is very unloving and far from good service.

Between green mountains and the blue of the Moselle, the idyllic Mosel Islands Camping welcomes all individual holidaymakers who feel at home in nature. The Moselle rushes calmly around the campsite, which is located entirely on the island of Pommerer Werth. One of the special features of the naturally beautiful site is its own marina. This means that water sports enthusiasts can also take their own boat with them on their camping holiday.
Mosel Islands Camping extends over 4.5 hectares and is connected to the mainland via a bridge. The centre of the municipality of Treis-Karden is just 500 m away. The camping site, which is open seasonally, has a total of 150 pitches, 138 of which are parcelled out. Almost all of the pitches, which are between 90 and 100 square metres in size, are equipped with electricity connections and there are also connections for fresh water and waste water. WLAN is available to campers throughout the site. The building with the modern sanitary facilities is located at the heart of Mosel Islands Camping. Holidaymakers will also find covered cooking facilities, a launderette and a room with table tennis tables. Fresh bread rolls can be collected every morning from the reception building or the marina building. Four-legged friends are also welcome guests at Mosel Islands Camping. Dog owners have a fenced-in area at their disposal for carefree, off-leash walking. One of the highlights of the holiday resort is its own small marina. Moorings are available here for boats up to 16 metres in length and are equipped with electricity and water connections. The boat restaurant serves regional dishes with a Mediterranean touch directly at the marina. After dinner, the playground awaits younger guests. Young parents will also be delighted with the baby changing room.
Numerous small villages surround the camping site. Treis-Karden, for example, is within walking distance of Mosel Islands Camping and, in addition to restaurants and shopping facilities, has an idyllic park on the banks with a playground and jetty for passenger boats. It is around 30 minutes by car to Cochem, a small district town that is particularly famous for its castle and historic architecture. Koblenz is not only suitable for an excursion because of its romantic old town centre. Travellers can enjoy a unique view of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley when visiting Breitenstein Fortress just outside the city. The Moselle and its tributaries can of course also be explored from the campsite by boat. The one or other wine tavern on the banks invites you to stop for a bite to eat.
