Partially tiered, partially terraced grounds divided by a narrow road, scattered with trees. Mostly gravel stand areas. Separate, slightly sloped tent meadow. Located on the outskirts of town.
Access to water
Approximately 80 m long and up to 10 m wide sunbathing lawn.

Separate pitching is required for the tent meadow and some small pitches.
Note
The water of this lake is drained every autumn. In spring, the lake slowly refills and reaches its normal water level by early June.

Camping was very nice, despite the high season. Tents are mostly separated from camper vans and cars. Therefore relatively quiet, even at night which is good for camping. Great location and clean sanitary facilities. Friendly staff.

Small, natural campsite directly at Forggensee, partially with lake view and on the Kings' castles. Direct access to the lake with playground. Electricity according to consumption, sanitary facilities clean and well-maintained with shower tokens. Staff super accommodating and friendly. Wi-Fi not available everywhere on site, roll service, restaurant/pizzeria very tasty food.

Very beautifully located terraced site. The plots are all not very large, hence larger ships have difficulty finding a spot. Very short paths to the lake. Lots of opportunities for cycling; e-bikes are advantageous. Sanitary facilities were always clean and well-maintained. Will come back.

Great place, good and sufficient sanitary facilities and everything that goes with it. Nice neighbors who are still campers, management, staff all helpful and kind. No problems with the dog. And if it's too steep, the caravan is easily pulled up by the tractor and that solves the small problem. Would love to come back.

Quiet, idyllic campsite right by the lake. We've been there twice and are happy to return. Great panorama with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle. Fantastic area for hiking. With the guest card, you can ride the bus for free, so the car can stay parked. It doesn't get any better than this.
