Campingplatz Leuchtturm

Beautiful beach, naturism with dogs allowed, pitch for motorhome on the grass. Motorhome of 6.99 m rounded up to 7 m, so I paid more, which is unfair. This is not acceptable. What’s the point of Terms and Conditions if everyone does what they want?

Even in the season, I got a good pitch for 2 nights without reservation. The pitches are particularly spacious for motorhomes and very accessible. The sanitary facilities are quite new, clean and adequately equipped. Nearby there are restaurants and on the site a small market and a watersports school. The dog beach is at the far end and unfortunately was not cleared of the sea grass. Overall, Poel is worth a visit and the campsite is definitely recommended.

It is a well-maintained campsite, we were warmly welcomed and competently advised at the reception. The introduction to the site was really good. Due to the almost 100% occupancy, it was not possible to choose our own spot. All the pitches were generous, in area D there was a passage that might have been annoying for those present there. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well-maintained. It was unfortunate that in the washroom opposite the reception there was not a single hook to be found, you didn’t know where to put your things. I think that should change quickly. Personally, I don't think it’s good that at the disposal station there was also the tap for drinking water, this should change. Emptying the chemical toilet is not pleasant, a better solution needs to be found. Such a lid with a large hole is really ugly. Nice restaurants in the

The CP at the lighthouse stands out due to its proximity to Timmendorfer Beach! The pitches are generous and covered with grass and gravel. On the site and in the immediate vicinity, you can find everything you need... Showering 1€ for 4 minutes is okay. Unfortunately, the WLAN is not usable at 'our pitch' at all, outdated for 2024! Between 1 PM and 3 PM, check-in is not possible due to the lunch break! For such a busy site, this is really unacceptable!!

We are now here for the fourth time and we are enjoying our summer holiday. The path to the beach is not far, just over the dune and you can have your feet in the sand.

We were here at the end of the season at the campsite and practically closed it down. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed it very much. The price of 44 euros for 2 nights in the off-season is fair. It includes a 9m motorhome, 2 people, and 2 dogs as well as the tourist tax. Also worth mentioning positively are the short distances to the beach, bakery, restaurants, harbor, etc. Negatively, for 5 euros in tourist tax the beach was actually not usable. Instead of sand, it was almost exclusively covered in washed-up seaweed. It could be cleaned in the off-season or the tourist tax could be waived. The staff at the reception was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the hairdryer in the ladies' shower didn’t work and was not replaced. We will definitely come back.

We have been coming to the Leuchtturm campsite in Timmendorf for many years. The site has an optimal location if you love the sea and nature. Unfortunately, the condition of the site has deteriorated increasingly in recent years. Starting from the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities to the pollution of the paths by the many, in my opinion, far too many dogs. Furthermore, the friendliness of some employees, especially at the reception, leaves much to be desired.

We were here at the end of September and completely satisfied. Many sanitary facilities with enough showers/toilets/washing booths. Washing machines and ironing board are also available. The location is stunning, right by the beach. There is also a separate dog beach.
