Campingplatz Küstencamp

This place was the best thing that could happen to us! Cool operators with "their heart in the right place". We arrived without a reservation during the midday rest in front of the barrier and asked if there was still space. 😅🤷‍♀️ That was on Wednesday. And today, Saturday, we unfortunately had to go home. Our vacation is over and duty calls. Beautiful spots and bookings according to individual wishes (sunny or not, TV yes or no), water and electricity directly at the site. Our boys were thrilled with the freely usable play options (outdoor chess or checkers, pedal cars). This creates peace and relaxation for the parents. Rolls and pastries are ordered the day before and can be picked up at three different times. Clean sanitary facilities, electricity and showers are charged based on consumption. Perfect.

Nice operators, always trying to help, beautiful, quiet location right next to a forest close to a quiet natural beach, relatively large pitches, have been coming here regularly for 3 years and are looking forward to the next visit!

Rügen is a great island. Lots of nature, lots of space. The desire to be close to nature should not mean that as a camper you go on holiday at a campsite that has just 3 men's toilets for 93 pitches. From 12-3 PM they are even closed for cleaning, and you are told to use the disabled toilet, according to the notice on the sanitary doors of the coastal camp. Assuming that during peak times 93 young and old men at the coastal camp have to share 3 toilets, or even just one toilet from 12-3 PM, one can imagine that not much of the beautiful Baltic Sea and the lovely island of Rügen remains in memory after choosing this campsite. Not without reason does the quality of the sanitary facilities and the quantity of available toilets make up the largest portion of the ADAC assessment of a campsite. Here, urgent improvements must be made, as one often finds no exact indication of the number of available sanitary facilities in the self-disclosures.

We have now been to the site for the 3rd time and definitely not the last time. Beautiful flat meadow area with or without shade, something for everyone. Short walk to the natural beach. Walking or taking the dog out is directly possible from the site. Buns are available at the reception, as well as a small kiosk. Very nice and helpful operators. Sanitary facilities well maintained and clean. Unfortunately, not all campers leave it like that...

We were here for a week over New Year's and were warmly welcomed by the owner even after 6 PM on December 26, 2021. The site is very dog-friendly and it is only a few meters to the beach. The sanitary facilities were also clean. We can definitely recommend this site and will stop here again soon. Best regards, Manu and Enrico

Unfortunately, we did not like the campsite, no friendly reception, sanitation clearly far too little (3 showers for ladies and 3 showers for gentlemen for the entire site). Showers and toilets are only clean directly after cleaning. A major drawback is that there is ONLY ONE disabled toilet available for the entire site between 12 and 3 PM. Lunch break between 12 and 3 PM also applies to children!! The beach is not nice at all, you have to drive a good distance (about 10km) to avoid big rock pieces in the water. All in all, not recommended!

Clean and well-maintained campsite, very dog-friendly, and the pitches are well-equipped...... Where there are large trees, there is a direct satellite connection at the power column. Quiet location, good for relaxation. Sanitary area very clean and expansion is also in planning.

Lovely stop - a week in Rügen at the coastal camp. Time stands still here. Not in terms of the facilities (which are very good). Stress and hustle on the campsite are virtually blown away. Perhaps it's also due to the deceleration of the operators - always very friendly, clear rules, everything in top shape. We would happily spend another week here.
