Ideal location for hikers
Very quiet located at the edge of the forest. Hiking opportunities directly from the campsite. Highly recommended even with a dog. Very friendly and helpful operator - one feels welcome here! Good starting point for hikes
Very good starting point for hikes in the entire High Rhön, many tours possible directly from the site, very friendly site management, usually quiet during the day.

Every year during the Abenteuer Allrad trade fair in Bad Kissingen, we spend a few days there (it is about a 20-minute drive to Bad Kissingen) and are always warmly welcomed. The site is well-kept and clean, however, the sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated.… More

Simple place in a natural setting. Very nice reception, mostly long-term campers. The sanitary facilities have aged quite a bit and should definitely be expanded. However, this site is very well located for hiking in the area. Definitely try the monastery beer...
