Lakecamp Kransburger See

Very nice spot with friendly staff.

The space and sanitary facilities are very nice. Unfortunately, nobody observes the night silence starting at 10:00 PM, the ice cream vendor drives through the area until 11:00 PM. Otherwise, everything is fine.

We couldn't complain and are going back there next week and are looking forward to slowing down again. Unfortunately, the weather during our last visit caused the awning to be a bit underwater, but the site can't be blamed for that. The sanitary facilities are great and the reception was super friendly. You can walk around the site really well with the dogs and the lake is very refreshing in the summer (we've had other lakes). Now we even want to search more intensively for a permanent pitch there.

In the confirmation email for the pitch reservation, we were informed that electricity is charged based on consumption. But upon departure, we suddenly heard that our plot had no electricity meter yet and that we had to pay a flat rate of 5 € per day for electricity. That's really outrageous and extortionate for 8 days of camping! On the positive side, the sanitary facilities were very clean. However, we discovered 8 rabbit carcasses on the large lawn near the tent for children's activities, some of which were already very decomposed. Not such a nice sight for children!

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly. Since we booked a spot with private sanitary facilities, we received the key and were told where to find the spot. So we drove to the spot. Unfortunately, the number was missing. Once we knew where we were supposed to stand, we first looked at how we could actually park. According to the homepage, the spot is supposed to be 120 square meters, according to the boundary post it is 80 square meters and if you take the boundary as the owner told me a week later, it is 100 square meters. There are still a few water taps with internal threads at the spot. There are no adapters. Fortunately, the faucet was then replaced after three inquiries after a week. The restaurant is okay and the prices are reasonable. The stand bar is not open daily as described, but only if you are lucky. There is a lot of advertising and the spots are advertised with more area than they actually have. Even our neighboring spot has 100 instead of 120 square meters. The water connections are often inconveniently placed and spot 39 has a shaft that is not allowed to be driven over. Plastic waste and old tires are lying around in some places and are not being removed. We are very dissatisfied and did not have a nice vacation because of the much too small spot. We cannot recommend the spot. Much is promised here that is then not kept. At least the spot is not heavily occupied in August.

Beautiful place. Nice lake. Great chalets.

Unfortunately, we are disappointed with this campsite. Too few and moreover unkempt sanitary facilities. The entire facility gives an unkempt and worn-out impression. Unfortunately!

The Kransburger See is worth a visit time and time again! Great atmosphere, quietly situated. Awesome opportunity for SUP boarding and swimming, excellent sanitary facilities, and delicious ice cream from Toni!
