The Kesselberg campsite is a great campsite for families. When we arrived, the owner immediately assigned us our spot, the best part was that he showed us a few pitches and we could choose one. Our caravan with awning and car was too wide for our spot, our car was slightly on the neighbor's spot. When we asked the owner if this was a problem, his only response was, "Everything is good, it fits." I really appreciate such remarks. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated but always clean and tidy, they are cleaned every day for 1.5 hours. The own beer garden is also recommended, there is a "special" dish every other day that must be ordered in advance, the pre-order is definitely worth it. Huge praise for the Kesselberg campsite, keep it up!

Beautifully located, right by the Kochelsee, with a pebble beach, where, as already mentioned, dogs are prohibited. In the area, as usual, dogs are allowed on a leash. Meadow area with gravel paths. Site and sanitary facilities clean. Sanitary, however, outdated, showers with coin machines. Small restaurant with a limited selection on site. Prices okay. Nearest shopping opportunity further away. Price/performance ratio a bit too high.

The location of the campsite is great. Very quiet (probably also due to the month). But there is an investment backlog.. Sanitary facilities are clean, but outdated and the entire sanitary building needs modernization, preferably rebuilding. Prices are too high at nearly 50 euros per night without electricity and without a shower! The shower costs extra and is charged at 0.50 euros for 5 minutes. Not up to date. Electricity is billed per kWh. No Wifi available. In our opinion, this campsite could be a real gem, but for that, especially investments in sanitary facilities are needed and at that high price, a more contemporary standard (Wifi, etc.) should be offered. Therefore only 3 out of 5 stars.

Quiet campsite, right by the lake with a pebble beach, dogs are not allowed here, but on the campsite they are. The sanitation facilities date back to the 60s, but they were clean. Owner very nice. Bread roll service. We were only there for one night, on a stopover.

I can only agree with my predecessor. Very nice campsite, quiet, clean, beautifully located by the water. And yes, the sanitary building is actually not up to date (but clean), it didn't bother us.
