The facilities were super neat and clean! However, the campsite itself felt old-fashioned, the terrain was uneven, and it was just a large grassy field with big stones on the paths. This is not a campsite for families with children, as there is nothing to do except for two car tires hanging in a tree. For us, never again.

An excellent alternative to the (terrible) motorhome pitches at Völklinger Hütte, located just about 10 km away. A wonderful, organized campsite. Situated right by the Saar. Friendly team. Great, modern sanitary facilities! Electricity connection available at the pitch (billing based on consumption). However, it's essential to note that FRIDAY is a rest day! So, please make sure to register in advance! The campsite includes a clubhouse with restaurant (which we unfortunately couldn't visit due to the rest day). A REWE supermarket is in the immediate vicinity! Across from the site, there's a large camping dealer in case there are any problems.
