The campsite is starting in 2025 with a new couple as owners. Many improvements have already been made. The sanitary facilities are clean and give a tidy impression. The small kiosk and the bread service are also pleasant. Work on the pitches has already been done in a short time. For those seeking peace, this is the perfect place. Keep it up.....

One should not overlook the reality behind the overwhelmingly positive reviews of campers at Pincamp (excellent!) and the individual ratings of the various service areas by the ADAC: Sanitary area: 4 points for a cramped, convoluted, poorly ventilated, and aging sanitation facility are simply too much when compared to other top sanitation buildings that barely reach 4.5 points. There are hardly any storage options at the sinks and little space between the semi-open dividers. Rating: 3 points Site area: Here too, 4 points are too many. The access roads to the terrace pitches are narrow and steep. They need urgent repairs (broken asphalt, washed-out roadway, depressions). There is only 1 water extraction point down by the main building, and it is almost unreasonable to fetch water from the upper terrace pitches. Wastewater connections and sewage outlets are also absent. One has to carry the wastewater down the steep paths. The campsite is aptly named “Im Waldwinkel” (In the Wood Corner). It is located in the middle of a dense forest on a slope and receives little sunlight. It gives off a rather gloomy impression of isolation. The surroundings of the main building are somewhat unkempt and have little to do with “pure nature.” Not only the playground (only a small range of play opportunities and equipment), the whole site could use a refresh. Not very suitable for young families with children. Rating: 2.5 points. Finally, I would like to point out that there is certainly also something positive to mention. I kindly ask you to read the other reviews regarding this matter. I just wanted to put the “excellent” rating of this place into a proper perspective.

A place that guarantees peace and relaxation. Very nice operators, everything very clean and tidy. We will definitely come back!

A not too large campsite that seems to have grown right into the forest. Because we are so excited about the family atmosphere, we have been here several times before. Recently, we were there again and our problem with our caravan was helped without any "ifs" and "buts". That is not a matter of course!

Very beautiful site, wonderfully quiet location. Right next to a great outdoor pool. The site operators, the family, are very nice and always approachable. Sanitary facilities are clean and lovingly decorated. Campsites are large and nicely laid out. Partly sunny, mostly shady.

Anyone who wants to experience camping in its purest form and in a rustic anti-glamping atmosphere must come here. A nice little owner-managed site with the flair of the late 60s. Cozy, not coated with a glossy finish, but brutally simple and clean. In a beautiful wooded valley. Unfortunately, I have only been there once, but when I am drawn back to the Harz, this place will be the base for excursions in the area.
