Flat meadow area between railway line and Rhine. The areas for tourists are partially covered with trees, partially without vegetation. Many pitches have a view over the Rhine to Rüdesheim. Located about 2.5 kilometers east of the center of Bingen, in the Kempten district.

It is a simple campsite, with more the character of a parking space. A spot is assigned. There are no green spaces like a small hedge or bushes. Cars are parked close together. This results in little privacy. Campers in the first row walked directly past our breakfast table to the sanitary building. Unfortunately, mutual respect among campers is also declining more and more! The price/performance ratio is not justified. 30€ per night for a camper + 1.50€ for a shower token is not justified for this type of campsite. Sanitary showers/toilets were clean. The city of Bingen is easily reachable on foot or by bike. There are nice excursion opportunities. For 1-3 nights it's okay, but we would not book a holiday here, also due to the adjacent train line. There are many small details missing that would make the campsite more appealing.

The site has a wonderful location. The ferry to Rüdesheim is 2.5 km away. From there, wonderful hikes can be undertaken in the vineyards. The gondola ride is also an experience. About the site: despite having a reservation, we were assigned a spot next to parked caravans and motorhomes. The lawn was partially newly sown, and you were not allowed to lay out a carpet. Then you still had to move the motorhome because the spot assigned to us was already occupied by another motorhome, which returned after a short day trip. However, we received an apology in the form of a coffee and cake voucher and a delicious sparkling wine. Apology accepted. Conclusion: good site, good sanitation facilities, despite reservation a parking spot, poor organization, but friendly staff. Three stars.

There are grassy parking spaces with views of the Rhine. Small snack restaurant on site, no dining establishments in the immediate vicinity. Good starting point for hikes through the vineyards to Bingen. The direct connection to Bingen takes about 20 minutes on foot. Sanitary facilities have been renovated in recent history. Unfortunately, the maintenance and cleaning condition is miserable. In our perception, there was no cleaning during our stay from Friday to Saturday.

Beautiful parking space, even more beautiful view. The access with 2.1m is not suitable for trailers and motorhomes. Signage should only lead over the bridge. Very friendly staff. Food at the snack bar is okay. Sanitary facilities are clean. They had, among other things, pot roast like mom used to make. Otherwise, snack bar quality.

We had a beautiful view of the Rhine and it only cost 19€ for one night. Unfortunately, that was all the positive things we could report. The sanitary facilities were dirty and moldy. A snack bar also serves as the reception, and all night long trains passed by every few minutes on the nearby tracks. Additionally, the approach to the campsite, especially in the dark, is really difficult. There are two options to get to the other side of the tracks: an underpass and a bridge. The underpass is only 2.1 m high; nonetheless, there is a sign directing to the campsite. Turning around is impossible, and you have to back out again. Most guests should have height issues with their vehicles there. Therefore, definitely take the bridge to cross over the tracks to get to the campsite! Caution: power supply via Schuko plug!

The price-performance ratio was good. The dog can also stay overnight for free here. Unfortunately, we were parked in the second row by the Rhine with our caravan. For 1-2 days, the place can be recommended as it is very close to Bingen and the ferry dock. The snack bar was great. Open pitches, no privacy walls or bushes, etc. Caravans are parked next to each other. The toilets were clean, but the showers were extremely moldy. For this reason, we then moved on. The signage to the campsite is very confusing. There are two access points: one through an underpass that is only 2.1m high, and the other over a narrow bridge that is very unclear. The registration was very chaotic, but the site guide was really nice and helpful.

Very nice campsite, we are right by the Rhine, it's not far to Bingen. There is a snack bar on site, overlooking the Rhine.
