Campingplatz Himmelreich am Schnackensee

We have been here several times as a couple with our dog and it has always been very relaxing. We will definitely come back here next year. The owners are very nice and always helpful. Our little dog lady also loves being here.

Very clean sanitary facilities, large parking spaces, very quiet, everything was simply great. Furthermore, very friendly staff both at the reception and in the beer garden. We have been here twice and will definitely come back more often.

We only looked at the place, very nice, quiet, clean, and spacious sites. Everything very well thought out. In the middle of nature, but close to the center. Very nice owner, took the time for our questions. Top camper van sites for a beautiful sunset. Hotel, restaurant, and beer garden on site. Various accommodations for rent. Optimal for anglers with bookable spots. Sauna wagon is also on site. Anyone who wants nature, peace, and a top starting point for biking tours is right here.

Spacious plots. Very friendly reception. New and clean sanitary facilities. Quiet place. After heavy rain, some plots and paths are under water.

The site is beautifully located away from the hustle and bustle. Sanitary facilities are very clean and well-equipped. Supply and disposal are all available. Large plot, flat and with its own power connection. Can confirm, the site manager is very friendly. We felt very comfortable here. However, one should know: The local supply is very limited. The bread roll service was great; otherwise, there is a vending machine with snacks and drinks. The nearest shopping opportunity is about 5 km away. The restaurant next door only offers a very limited menu, liver cheese and sausages. There is a bus stop, but it is only served by a call bus. The frequency is rather rare. So one should either be mobile with a bicycle or car. Then it's a super nice place. We will certainly come back, just then with bicycles in our luggage:-)

Newly landscaped campsite. Not far from Altmühlsee and Brombachsee. The lovely town of Gunzenhausen is easily reachable by bike. The best part is that the manager and the site caretaker are very friendly. The caretaker is happy to provide tips to interesting places.
