According to the phone call, we could still come by quite spontaneously. Everything was made possible for us to get a spot. The groundskeeper is direct and honest but friendly at the same time. This is something we really like as Northerners. They always stood by us with advice and help. Even when we needed a jump start, he was there immediately and didn't give up until our motorhome started up again. The whole site is very clean and beautifully located by the lake. The lake can be completely circled through the forest.

Beautiful lake, beautiful sunbathing area, upper pitches are rather dreary and loveless. Roll service, acceptable sanitary facilities, stressed site manager.

The area consists of 80 percent permanent campers, the lakeside spots are reserved for short-term campers. We had a direct view of the very beautiful and well-maintained lake. We were received kindly and shown to the spacious area. The ground was quite level and a mix of grass and gravel, which we found very pleasant. The price for the spot and also the rolls were absolutely fine. Showering is probably comparably expensive, 50 cents for 2 minutes, etc. However, you can stop the water, making it sufficient. The shower room itself is definitely clean, but it could be made a bit more comfortable. It is very noisy, and some slats of the ceiling covering are very loose. (No reason for a negative review) The location is wonderfully beautiful, and it is no problem to get to Brühl by bike. From there, we rode our e-bikes along the Rhine to Cologne (28 km to the cathedral). The adjacent forest also offers many opportunities for long walks or simply to circle the lake. We will come back.

After the flood, we are living in the camper and have to dispose of waste every few days. The operator was immediately willing to help us in this situation, even though we are not standing at the campsite. He offered us to use the disposal facilities at his place as long as we are in this emergency situation. We did not receive this offer at the campground at Liblarer See, even though we would have paid for it, of course. There we were dismissed with the comment 'That's not possible.' Therefore, we are even more pleased with the helpfulness and friendliness at Heider Bergsee. Thank you!

We were here for 2 nights for a visit to Phantasialand. Everything is available that you need for a short stay. The sanitary facilities are clean but could use some renovation.

This is our second visit. We can simply recommend this campsite. It is very well-maintained and clean. The area for tents is a meadow right by the lake. Just lovely. There is a small parking lot 2 minutes on foot. Electricity can be booked additionally, but we didn't need it. The sanitary facilities are new and always clean. There are also showers available (for a fee). The prices are absolutely fair. We really have no complaints about this campsite and are already looking forward to our next visit.
