A very beautiful place for those who wish to engage in water sports, biking, or strolling in a magnificent environment in complete tranquility. Lounging is also fantastic. It’s ideal to choose all four disciplines, as the lake is truly lovely and very shallow (a little over 1 meter deep), making it much easier to practice on the various boards. The nature path is delightful. And by bike, you can head to either Emden or Aurich (about 10 km each way, so be sure to bring some food). I’ve visited this very clean site for the fourth time. During the season, there’s even a ‘pub’ by the lake where one can enjoy the sunset. The camper area looks great, but I prefer a pitch on the well-kept grass. The camping team is a real asset. It feels a bit like ‘visiting friends.’ In summary: top spot. My recommendation for you.

A campsite perfect for relaxation, featuring a good children's beach and opportunities to learn SUP paddling or surfing. The sanitation facilities in the main building are clean and tidy. Showers are billed by the minute (0.35 Eur/min), and unused credit is refunded - fair. The large "sea" is very shallow (about 0.75 m deep), making it very suitable for bathing with children, though not for swimmers. There are three restaurants in immediate proximity, but no shopping options aside from a bakery cart operating from 8 to 10 AM. Surf school and pedal boat/SUP rentals nearby. Good bike paths surround the lake, with many information signs and manually operated ferries (Pünten). The caravan pitches, measuring 80 m², are spacious enough and well-maintained - we liked the spot, the amenities, and the surroundings! A downside is the weak mobile/data reception - Wi-Fi did not work at all, which was frustrating. No TV connection available.

After a very friendly phone call reception on site, I felt very comfortable. Sanitary facilities always clean. Bistro with a small menu and good cocktails highly recommended. Bread roll cart on site from 8 am... a bit late for early risers. Very good water sports opportunities.

The location of the campsite is very good right by the Great Sea. The green nature invites for extensive cycling tours to Aurich, Greetsiel or through the charming East Frisian villages. The small leisure area by the beach has been lovingly created – probably by the community. The motorhome pitch has a very well-maintained impression. Unfortunately, this is not the case for the campsite itself. Numerous pitches have deep hollows that quickly fill with water when it rains. And the - clean - sanitary building gives off the charm of a youth camp from the 60s. That despite months of prior registration, one does not get a continuous pitch for over 5 days, but has to switch once, is unfortunate; a "Wacken Revival Party" with a lot of alcohol and noise until well past 10 PM is simply annoying.

QUIET PLACE - SPACIOUS PARKING SPACE FOR RV. FRIENDLY RECEPTION. SANITARY FACILITIES ON THE SITE HAVE BEEN IMPROVED OVER THE YEARS. PERHAPS IMAGES OF THIS SHOULD ALSO BE PLACED ON THE WEBSITE AND NOT JUST THE PHOTOS OF THE NEW BUILDING OUTSIDE THE SITE.

Very friendly at the reception. Space size more than adequate for a motorhome. Spacious grounds with a lake. Invites you to come back. Sanitary facilities are aging but clean. No Wi-Fi on site.

The place is for people looking for peace and relaxation, but also for those who want to recover actively. Many opportunities for playing, cycling, water sports, etc.
