The value for one night was great.

Place has been visited several times as an overnight spot. Always satisfied. Sanitary facilities clean, the restaurant above the place is recommended. Discount for transit, if the wellness area is not used. Beautiful view from all pitches. For a longer stay, the place is too lonely. Pitches could be straighter, some are very sloped.

We were passing through for one night here. It is great here because there are places in front of the barrier for late arrivals. Staying longer would also be wonderful here; there is mini-golf, Pit Pat, a playground, a small thermal bath, a summer toboggan run, a restaurant, and ice cream. Really great here. The campsite offers a fantastic view of the valley. And now the most important thing: clean sanitary facilities!!

The site is arranged as a terrace with an open view of the valley and, in suitable weather, into the distance. The reception was warm and uncomplicated; we did not make a reservation. After we informed them which parcel we would use, the power was activated, which we didn't actually need, just as a note - this will be billed according to consumption. Water is available at every parcel and included in the price. Since we have a very small caravan, we easily accommodated the car and the caravan. We could also use the small fine wellness area. Sauna, steam bath, a lovely relaxation room, and a warm outdoor pool. Observing the moon from there is something special. We did not use the bread service, the restaurant above, leisure activities, or shopping options. It is worth mentioning the proximity to Cheb, where fuel is cheap. The sanitary facilities were clean at all times. Since we only wanted to go for a short hike the following day, we were able to park the caravan outside the premises for as long as needed - this was also handled easily. Therefore, we give 5 stars, and we would gladly return anytime.

We spent 2 nights by the barrier on the pitches. Very nicely located, super friendly staff. Very clean sanitation facilities. Great heated pool / sauna / steam bath. There is quite a bit to explore in the region, an E-bike is an advantage as it is quite hilly. About 20 km away you can refuel and shop affordably / Cheb-Eger in the Czech Republic. Our conclusion: We will definitely come back.

We were here for the third time at this actually very beautiful spot. Great view, small pool, and nice staff. This year, our arrival coincided with the end of the Bavarian Pentecost holidays. The place was very full, and the condition of the sanitary facilities, which we remembered as clean and well-maintained, was borderline by the afternoon. And unfortunately, this did not change by the morning. A second cleaning would have been necessary on that day. Very unfortunate!

A comfortable place with plenty of peace and a view of the Stiftland. Pool and sauna included if you have a spot behind the barrier. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well-kept, the small kiosk has everything you need for minor necessities. For shopping, there are plenty of stores in Mitterteich. Above, there's a restaurant where you can eat well, as far as Pit Pat, mini-golf, and summer toboggan runs. Hiking and cycling trails are well-marked. Those seeking peace and relaxation will find themselves very well taken care of here.

We were here for 2 nights - great view and a clean place. The bread delivery service works perfectly and the prices for the bread are also reasonable. The staff is very friendly. Just above is a restaurant where you can eat very well. Mini-golf and summer toboggan run are also here. The summer toboggan run only operates on weekends and holidays outside of vacation time. The town of Mitterteich is 3.6 km away, and since the campsite is located on the mountain - it is very difficult to return by bike if you do not have an e-bike. The kiosk is sparsely stocked. The sanitary facilities are clean - but for an ADAC 5-star site, in my opinion, it's not adequate. There is a small pool, steam bath, and sauna at the site. However, this is intended for wellness and is not suitable for children to splash around. The water is, however, nicely warm. Upon inquiry whether a discount is received with the ADAC Carnet card - I was told that this only applies if you do not take a pool. However, this was not mentioned to me at the time of registration, and I find it incorrect as an ADAC tip. It is also difficult that there are no markings showing how the plots are laid out. You can only see the power boxes. The emptying of the chemical toilet happens when emptying the gray water. You have to open the flap on the ground, which is somewhat disgusting, to dump its contents in. At the plots, each pitch has a water connection, which is of course very nice, but there should perhaps be a small basin at the bottom so that you do not splash the column and everything around it. I would give 4 stars, but the issue with the Carnet card annoyed me a bit, and therefore only 3 stars.
