The sanitary facilities are neglected, uncared for, and old. Mold has taken over the showers, and the sinks are not inviting for washing either. The toilets are very cramped. We will not visit the campsite again - entering the sanitary facilities in the morning takes too much courage.

September 2023
We (2 adults) were at this campsite in September '23. According to the website, we expected more. The sanitation facilities are a disaster, very poorly maintained and outdated (toilet stains despite cleaning in the same spot, shower with mold stains and dirt, sink faucets old and worn, also mold here, then there are pay showers that have not been cleaned at all, cobwebs and dust everywhere). The lighting was not always on at night. Hand sanitizer was completely missing, which should be standard in today's times. Cleaning of the sanitary areas took place at 6 AM with a small mop bucket and outdated with a mop cloth. Change of cloths for toilet and sink questionable... The shower facilities should only be entered with special shoes, but the laid tiles apparently had not been cleaned for months underneath. Hygiene is unfortunately not taken seriously here and should be reconsidered given the large number of people. Moreover, the toilets and shower facilities are far too few when the meadows are busy with larger crowds. Sometimes, there was a lack of paper in the toilets, and in one instance, despite a week-long stay, the toilet seat was not replaced (whether it was missing). The campsite is by no means quiet. The cars and surrounding businesses can be heard in the morning or at night. Therefore, we had to sleep with earplugs at night. Wi-Fi reception was free, but only briefly at the height of the sanitary facilities, and nothing with updates as it was not stable. The dishwashing area was poorly lit and not equipped with motion sensors. If we hadn’t had a flashlight with us, we wouldn’t have noticed the light switch inside. Pitches partly with grass grid stones, but also only grass. Slippery when wet. The green areas and paths could also be better maintained. In rain, very dangerous with acorns. The restaurant is overwhelmed with large crowds of people and stops taking orders. Stood in line for 15 minutes for nothing. Apparently, the operator does not need money here. Once again, we can only agree with the previous reviewers. This place certainly does not deserve 4 stars, and we wonder how the ADAC rates it.

The campsite is beautifully located. We didn't understand how it got a rating of 4 stars. The wash and shower rooms are old, which doesn't have to be bad. What's bad is certainly when you don't see any cleaning staff for an entire weekend. That's how the showers look as well. There are many groups at the site that want to party. Apart from a sign that says quiet hours from 10:00 PM, no one cares about the quiet hours. This is also impossible since no one is around after 5:00 PM. For the aforementioned reasons, we do not wish to recommend the site; this is solely our opinion.

I can confirm all reviews like this. The site becomes a party place. The reception was no longer occupied at 5 PM. The camping area is blasted with music and bass by campers. No one cares. I would give this place a maximum of 3 stars. We will definitely not be coming back.
