Campingplatz Goldene Meile

We had a comfort pitch for 1 week, not very large. The sanitary facility is very nice and clean, but the shower heads could be renewed. And I cannot understand why they still work with shower tokens. The site is actually quiet, it just depends on who is there. We didn’t hear the train. The restaurant on the site is not good. At the kiosk you can order expensive rolls. We only ordered some once.

Already during the booking and also on site very nice and helpful. Recommended as a stop for hikers/bikers. Clean sanitary facilities, washing machine. A supermarket is in the immediate vicinity. On the tent meadow, electricity is possible. And benches with tables. However, the ground is very hard. What irritated me (being a dog owner myself) was that some dogs target the tent meadow to pee and some dog owners seem to leave them there. Perhaps people aren't aware that this is the tent meadow? I will definitely come back and I gladly recommend it.

Beautiful spot right by the Rhine. We had a pitch directly on the Rhine. This was partially paved. Other pitches were on a large meadow and not really parceled. There were two sanitary buildings that were always very clean. Unfortunately, you could only shower in one sanitary building. This was quite far from the pitches. It would have been nice to have a few showers in the second sanitary building. For showering, coins need to be used. It's okay, but not really up to date anymore. Due to the shipping traffic, it's not always completely quiet, but there's a lot to see. The proximity to Remagen, Ahrweiler, or Bonn is very nice for excursions. Cycling tours along the Rhine can also be easily started from this spot.

Simply top. Clean, nicely maintained showers, etc., enough space, friendly staff, green and quiet, good for everyone. Thank you.

Very well-maintained campsite. Lots are very clean. Sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned and are top-notch, modern, and very comfortable. Dogs welcome. Very secure site due to complete fencing. We were there in November and still felt very comfortable. We will come back.

Well-maintained, clean site. Parking spots by the Rhine with paved terrace. Friendly reception. Unfortunately not quite quiet at night due to railway traffic opposite. Sanitary facilities are new and clean. At the kiosk, unfortunately no ice cream, etc. in the off-season, only drinks and the option to preorder rolls were available in the fall. Nearby there is a really great Italian restaurant, a 5-minute walk from the tennis hall. In the off-season, for 2 adults and 2 children, €46 per night is not cheap. Showers cost extra. Lunch break from 1 PM to 3 PM.

We were at the campground for Christmas 2022. It was just beautiful, with some pitches right by the Rhine and there is a winter offer for €25. We have already booked again for this year's Christmas😉
