Campingplatz Freilingen im Westerwald

During our hike on the E1, we spent a night at the Panoramahaus. In that little house, everything is truly available that you need: a bathroom with a shower and toilet, two comfortable beds, a coffee maker, a terrace, ... Particularly noteworthy is the service from the super nice Isabelle, who even provided us with fresh rolls and croissants in the morning! I can't comment on the sanitary facilities, as our Panoramahaus had its own bathroom. WiFi was offered, but we didn't need it.

We went hiking in brisk autumn weather. It was wonderful that the hikers' hut was already heated. Additionally, we were provided with a kettle, tea, and coffee. Even towels were ready! Very nice!!!

Well, it is clean here. The staff is friendly too. The lake, plagued by blue algae, did not invite swimming. There is no wind or kitesurfing school. Boat rental was closed, but the boats are not exactly inviting either. Restaurant open only from Friday to Sunday during the high season. Roll service only on the weekend. All in all, a good campsite for well-equipped nature lovers. Given the price, we expected more. From us, only 2 stars.

The entire staff, groundskeepers, reception, and restaurant are very friendly. The site is tidy and very clean. We stayed there for 3 nights and will certainly not be there for the last time.

We were totally satisfied! It was clean, the staff were nice. The beach pool is a great bonus. We will definitely come back!

It was a great experience despite the rain, the birthday was so lovingly prepared, daily inquiries if everything is okay, great accommodation, great sanitary facilities, but best of all, the staff was super, highly recommendable, we would love to come back.

Great place, super nice hosts. Children and pets welcome. Of course, you can hear the kids having fun, but nighttime peace is guaranteed. The beach/the swimming area is also well-equipped with a playground, diving school, pedal boats, and DLRG supervision. Kiosk at the beach, restaurant at the campground. Showers and sanitary facilities are completely fine. Anyone who complains should just use the provided squeegees, then it will be clean for the next person too. We will always be happy to return.

Always worth a stop. The operators are helpful and super friendly. Pure nature and yes, there are also children who play, have fun, and can be loud at times. Nighttime peace is guaranteed. Pets are allowed. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy; those who complain should just use the available squeegees after showering, so the next person finds it clean too. The bathing lake is great, with a diving school, pedal boats, a bathing island, and DLRG supervision. What more could you want? We love it here and will definitely come back!
