You will be camping in a truly idyllic location on an island between two branches of the river Abens. The site features flat meadow terrain with shade-giving deciduous trees and hedges that provide privacy. The pitches are spacious and mostly offer a combination of gravel and grass, which is perfect for your motorhome or your car with caravan.

The sanitary facilities are a real highlight and modernly designed. Many campers even report a real wellness feeling. Everything is absolutely clean and well-maintained. There are 8 showers and 12 toilets in total, so you can feel completely comfortable. Although there is no private bathroom, the standard is extremely high.

Yes, we have a few friendly "good-to-know" tips for you: Since the site is located near a road, it is idyllic but not completely silent. In addition, the team strictly ensures that quiet hours at lunchtime are respected, and the warden sometimes has very precise ideas on how to position your motorhome or caravan on the pitch – but this also ensures order and a harmonious overall picture!

The campsite is considered very inexpensive and offers excellent value for money. You should keep the following in mind when planning your budget:

• Electricity: Billed fairly and transparently according to actual consumption.
• Payment method: Please remember to bring enough cash, as only cash payment is possible on site.
• Booking: Since the site is currently not bookable online via PiNCAMP, it is best to plan your arrival early.

Since the pitches have a mix of gravel and grass, sturdy pegs are a good idea. If you like being on the water, be sure to pack your stand-up paddleboard (SUP) or kayak! You can launch directly from the campsite onto the Abens and paddle to the mouth of the Danube. You should also bring your bike, as the cycle paths in the region are fantastic.

Although there is no supermarket or restaurant directly on the campsite, there is an excellent bread roll service with a great selection for your breakfast. You can also buy drinks directly on site. For larger purchases or a restaurant visit, simply drive about 1 kilometre into the town of Neustadt an der Donau – which is a stone's throw away by bike.

Absolutely, your four-legged friends are very welcome here! There is even a separate area of the site especially for guests with dogs, so that all campers – with or without a furry friend – can feel completely comfortable and relax.
