What campers are saying
Summarized by AI
This campsite scores with its idyllic, natural location right on the edge of the forest and a wonderfully uncomplicated atmosphere without unnecessary fuss. Campers appreciate the friendly operators and the relaxed vibe on site. Good to know for the trip: Anyone heading here should be prepared for somewhat dated facilities and shortcomings in the maintenance and cleanliness of the sanitary blocks.

The campsite is located in a very idyllic setting, nicely surrounded by trees and hedges. The pitches are of sufficient size. Unfortunately, you already get a bad impression when entering, trash bins are overflowing, regulars are sitting with a beer in front of the reception as early as 10 a.m. There is a great playground for children, but the so-called paddling pool has already developed algae (stomach illnesses are to be expected). The same goes for the pre-pool of the large pool. The front sanitary facilities (ladies and gentlemen) are new, BUT were cleaned only ONCE during our 4-day stay. Furthermore, there are two family bathrooms, which is very nice in itself, unfortunately they are quite outdated. The owner prefers to drive in with his Porsche instead of taking care of maintenance or cleanliness. Conclusion: very unkempt, more could be made of it.

For motorhomes with solar panels, a parking spot under trees is counterproductive, as solar panels require sunlight. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was not clean and the facilities directly at the pool were particularly dirty, and the water basin on the playground was also very dirty. The outdoor areas overall were not very well maintained. For example, the table tennis table was also completely dirty. In the restrooms, there was water on the floor, at one toilet the water ran continuously, the toilet seats and lids were wobbly. With more care, this would be a very nice campsite, especially for children, despite the trees. It is worth highlighting the friendliness and willingness to help of the staff.

It was very busy when we arrived due to Pentecost. You could notice it at the couple. They did not enter all the info in the computer but still in a big book. We were not to be found again when it was time to pay. We had the smallest spot of the campsite under the trees for 30 euros. On the grass in front of the campsite it was just as expensive. Many regular guests gathered in the beer garden. The campsite was completely full during these holidays. The shower in the old building had little pressure. The new shower facility was much better. The spaces were well cleaned.

This place is old, very old! Neglected and with poor access. We should have stayed with the caravan at the campsite. There was freshly filled soil that wasn't properly secured. An old converted construction trailer served as a toilet. We left immediately! Really not great there!!!!
