The reservation worked flawlessly. Upon arrival outside reception hours, you will find a layout plan on the notice board. The name is recorded at the assigned spot. Free spots are also visible on the plan and can be occupied. Check-in then the next morning with the friendly lady at the reception. The spot was very well maintained, the sanitary facilities are a bit older but clean. Completely quiet at night. Bus connections to Weimar several times a day.

Small, idyllic and well-maintained campsite, with very nice owner and team. Very uncomplicated and family-like 😊 The sanitary facilities are well-kept and the pitches are generous. Connection to public transport is a 5-minute walk. We used the time to relax and for sightseeing tours to Erfurt and Weimar. In the evening, there was a great cozy night with Thuringian bratwurst and a beer, along with some chat.

Beautiful camping. Buildings still from the old GDR, but sanitation facilities are new. Very nice campsite manager who can tell a lot about Weimar, Buchenwald... We received great hiking tips. Fresh baked goods every day from the "Vienna City Baker", that is a great service! Very relaxed atmosphere!
