Camping Emstal

The cosy Emstal campsite is surrounded by meadows, fields and forests in the heart of the picturesque Emsland countryside. Thanks to the wide range of excursions on offer and the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, the campsite is also ideal for families with children and nature lovers because of its location by the water.

Quiet campsite with a family atmosphere and close to nature

A total of 70 parcelled pitches are available for holidaymakers on the approximately 4.5-hectare site. With pitches ranging in size from 100 to 120 square metres, there is plenty of space and privacy. Features such as electricity and water connections, well-maintained sanitary facilities and Wi-Fi in parts of the site make for a more comfortable stay. In addition to the good shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity, the small camping shop provides all the necessities, such as bread rolls in the morning. The campsite is characterised by a high degree of tranquillity and closeness to nature. The River Ems, just a few metres away, tempts you to take a refreshing dip in the water in the warmer months. The area around the campsite is also ideal for fishing and boat trips. Alternatively, the well-developed Ems cycle path invites you to go on an extensive cycle tour. In addition to the diverse flora and fauna, you can also admire cultural and historical features such as the megalithic tombs or the nationally renowned Meyer shipyard. The town of Haren, around 19 kilometres away, is also well worth a visit. With the local shipping museum, the municipal art museum, the informative mill museum and the imposing Dankern Castle, there is something to suit every taste and every weather condition.
