Campingplatz Elbufer

The campsite offers a particularly good atmosphere. On one hand, it's the wonderful location of the site by the Elbe, and on the other hand, the very friendly reception from the site manager. You immediately feel welcome and on vacation. The couple managing the site is happy to help if something is needed. The sanitary facilities are very clean, and cyclists also appreciate the large and beautifully equipped kitchen. Price-wise top, we always like to come back.

A great spot right by the Elbe. Super friendly and really inexpensive. We always love coming here. Also great for cyclists.

Positive: Good position, directly on the riverbank with a small beach. Large field with free selection. The staff are friendly. Negative: If you want to be in the front row by the river, you will need an electric cable of at least 40/50 meters. You have to bring your own toilet paper. There are no paper towels to dry your hands and no disinfectant. The toilets close to the field are old and run down. There has not been any visible investment made here in decades. All in all though, here you can enjoy nature and peace.

Those looking for peace and nature are in the right place. The site is located in the midst of the Elbe floodplains. The pitches are unparcelled, partly on a meadow (possibly requiring a long power cable) or on a higher terrace, some with a great view of the Elbe! The operator is very friendly, straightforward, and helpful! The sanitary facilities are simple but clean! Toilet paper must be brought along. The shower cabins for men and women are in one room, which did not bother us. Shower token 5 min. / 1€ Shopping opportunity about 2 km Good starting point for bike tours to Hitzacker or Bleckede.

Super beautiful area and really nice groundskeepers. On weekends, there is grilling in the site's own pub and anglers can buy their fishing permits at the campsite kiosk. Additionally, there is a private Elbe beach... Moreover, there is a totally mixed crowd. I find the site genius.

Beautifully located campsite A campsite where everything is right. The tranquility right by the Elbe, simply amazing. The campsite owner and his wife are really nice people who are reachable and approachable even after work hours. The sanitary building is in good condition. The kiosk has the essentials. There is free choice of pitches. You can make great trips by bike. The campsite is really recommended. Great also for bike travelers (good camping kitchen with all the essential items).
