Found by chance. Very friendly owner, everything clean as it should be. I would gladly come back. It was perfect for me.

As a painter, I had the privilege of being able to paint and photograph for several days and nights on an island in the biotope. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! The kingfisher diving into the water next to me, woodpeckers in the trees, the heron motionless on a branch… At night, in the rising mist, I saw numerous hunting bats. The calls of a tawny owl in my immediate vicinity, larger fish jumping at night in the lake… it was overwhelming. A magical place of power and silence. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere else. Thank God the owner, Mr. Wolf, is very attentive to the protection of his biotopes, he can react quite angrily to misconduct. For the protection of the biotopes, these are not generally accessible to everyone. ONLY WITH PERMISSION AND REGISTRATION. It was a wonderful experience for which I am very grateful to Mr. Wolf. Dear mass tourists, please spare this place! You do not belong here at all! The large biotopes have been created over decades with enormous effort. A true paradise for children! This place attracts individualists with a special way of thinking!

We were at a campsite again after many years. We spent one night here in a rented camper van. The site operator welcomed us very kindly and made the surrounding biotope appealing. Simply great. Dinner could be had nearby at the student mill. Also recommended. The site itself has the charm of the 70s. However, that does not detract from it. Everything is clean and in order.

It is a nice little place with a great operator. There is a lot offered for children, and the possibilities to engage around the area are diverse. The operator is also a totally open and nice person. The sanitary facilities are a bit old but always clean. We will definitely come back to this place.

There are great biotopes that Wolf has created in 30 years and sometimes kingfishers. In the past, he traveled many years with the BMW sidecar through Africa and Asia. The sanitation is well maintained, we felt comfortable there and will come back.

Up to that point, everything was great. Very nice operator, everything was perfect... Except for: One day, during the midday quiet hours, the grass was mowed right next to us with a gasoline mower. Two days later, leaves were blown together with a ridiculously loud gasoline-powered leaf blower, also during the midday quiet hours. Again, two days later, blue fertilizer was spread around our campsite. We had two dogs with us. One can imagine what that meant. So I had to first clean the tent floor and the caravan, then wash the dog paws, and from then on keep an eye on every step of my Fifi's. That was really a bummer, as that stuff is highly toxic. What a shame...

The campsite offers a lot of nature, nice people, pleasant ambiance, pet-friendly, not expensive, well-maintained washrooms, a large parking lot... playground, play field. Best to see for yourself.
