Campingplatz Dümmersee

First, the positives: the sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly. However, the campsite itself is under constant noise stress. There is a public playground right next to the campsite that is well-frequented in nice weather. Access to the lake is also possible directly through the campsite, with a public parking lot right on site. In addition to the noise from the lake visitors, campers also ignore quiet hours, partying late into the night. This seems to obviously not concern the management. The comfort pitches are so small that you get the feeling of having landed on a motorhome parking spot.

Very friendly staff. Clean sanitary facilities, but they could be a bit better distributed: women over here, men over there. The price-performance ratio is still okay, although you have to pay for showers. The comfort pitches do not deserve their name. The water connection is too low and blocked by the irrigation for new plantings. It is also unacceptable that a large family suddenly arrives with two tents and a pavilion in a comfort area, even though there is a designated tent area. The odor nuisance from the manure pearls has been mentioned, but it was not noted that the air conditioning runs all night. The location is good, but anyone can pass through without paying an entrance fee.

The campsite is well located and clean. However, anyone can walk through here and park in front of the restaurant, which results in a high level of noise and tourist traffic. In conclusion, as nice and well-kept as it may be, we will not be coming back.

We were 2 adults and 2 kids. Had a spot in front of the closet, a bit cramped to get onto the spot, but possible. Nice neighbors, tourists and permanent campers + staff. All helpful. A restaurant, fries stand, playground, mini-golf, pedal boats and a beach bar with a small beach where you can get straight into the water. Since we just wanted to get away for a weekend and have some action, it was just right.

Spent a weekend there. 2 adults 2 children Delicious fresh rolls in the morning A lot to offer for the children. Nice staff. We will definitely come back.

The site is characterized by permanent campers. The pitches are partly equipped with concrete slabs, but partly also grass, or formerly grass, making it somewhat muddy during rain. With a caravan, one cannot arrive or depart at any time of the day because the access roads lead into a large parking lot and the parked vehicles make entering impossible. The sanitary facilities are new and always very clean. The operators are very nice and accommodating. The site offers an ideal starting point for trips to the attractions around the Dümmer.

Very clean place with spacious pitches with direct access to the Dümmer. Very good sanitary facilities. Good cycling opportunities, interesting bar on the beach. Would love to come again!
