Campingplatz Dollnstein

Small, clean, nice campsite. We were greeted very kindly on the phone, it’s no problem, just come. We were only here for one night and our request to leave the camper on the vehicle was also immediately considered. I can only recommend it.

Superbly located, clean campsite. Great place to swim in the Altmühl. Small and quiet, family-friendly. Highly recommended. Prices are also very fair.

Why go far away... Through the Fritz Berger newsletter, I stumbled upon the CP. A small, laid-back, family-run ('With us, you are in paradise') spot right by the Altmühl. A hidden gem. Fair prices even at the drinks and sweets vending machines, the pale beer for 2 euros. In case of emergency, there is also a large EDEKA nearby, maybe a good five minutes on foot. Pleasant: Only a few dogs and - respect to the few dog owners - if there is a dog, then on a leash. Whether the charge '1.10 EUR electricity connection fee' on the bill is absolutely necessary, I'm not sure, I never want to see such things. Just include it in the electricity flat rate, then it’s settled. However, I am sure that if I am allowed back into paradise: I will come back and then I will also take the opportunity to do a tour with the canoe rental.

Great place, very friendly. We stayed with the paddle boat for one night in a barrel.

Small, very well-run campsite in an excellent location by the Altmühl. Very nice and helpful operators. Sanitary facilities in very good condition. We always found them very clean. The very beautiful surroundings invite you to stay longer. We will definitely come back!

Very nice operators, tidy showers and toilets. Very well-maintained pitches. The site is located right on the Altmühl. Canoe rental not far away. Small campsite, grass. Cyclists often stay here in barrels or with tents. Playground for the little ones. Drink vending machine. Beautiful area and nice bike paths! Those who are disturbed by church bells or agricultural equipment should not come here. We will gladly vacation here again!

Beautifully located site directly on the Altmühl with its own boat dock. Operators very friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities renovated and always very clean, but not sufficient given the size of the site. Another sanitary building would certainly be good. From here, many activities are possible (bike and boat tours, hiking, etc.).
