The campsite is well organized and arranged. The spots are spacious and the operators are very helpful. One can wonderfully walk with their family and dog. The place is clean and the sanitary facilities are too. There are fresh rolls and affordable options like pizza for hunger at the campsite. Fresh meals are still cooked ❤️. Yesterday there was meat from the Dutch Oven. We are treated very warmly and have extended our stay a bit. Due to the location in the greenery, you wake up to the chirping of birds. We don't want to go home ❤️! We are visitors with a caravan and dog.

Good base for exploring the surrounding area

We had made a reservation, which however, was not necessary over the Corpus Christi weekend. From Monday on, we were almost alone on the site. All the places we have visited so far strictly adhered to the corona regulations. So I stood here with a mask at the completely unprotected registration window and was told that this is a "mask-free" place. This also applied to the food-serving staff and the registration. For that, I deduct a few points. In the sanitary area, it was as it should be during corona times – but also without a mask requirement. At the waste disposal, I was bothered less by the unusual height of 110 cm than by the fact that I couldn’t find a tap for washing hands. I did not want to use the short hose that others put into their waste disposals. We used the 3 days here as a base for exploring the surrounding area (Papenburg, Leer, among others) and for a visit to the Meyer shipyard (where corona protection was implemented exemplary, as well as everywhere else). The occasionally offered chili con carne from the Dutch oven is a recommendation. Delicious! There was nothing to complain about regarding the site itself.

Pure Relaxation

The campsite is great. The operators are wonderfully relaxed, sociable, and humorous. The sanitary facilities are clean and the site is quiet. Next door, there is a mini-golf course, a climbing forest, and some other attractions that prevent boredom. At the front of the campsite, there is a small kiosk with everything a camper's heart desires, including homemade cakes and delicious coffee specialties. On various occasions, the operators also hold festivals with beer carts and goulash cannons. We enjoy being at Blankes Glück.
