We were only visiting the campsite for a day. The first impression wasn't good. The sanitary area is already old and it smelled strange. I find the campsite very overcrowded. It was very loud all day, so if you want quiet, this campsite is absolutely not the place. There were many families with children there. You can take riding lessons there, which is quite good. There is a swimming pool there, but nothing else. I don't find the surroundings very appealing either. I think this campsite is absolutely not nice at all. 😔

The site mainly has permanent campers. The tourist pitches are right by the riding stables. Large with electricity connection and water. The awning is outside but covered. The sanitary facilities were okay, not the latest chic. The only thing that was a bit unusual was the smell from the drain in the main building. At the riding area directly by the campers and tent pitches, there were 3 very clean toilets, one of which is accessible and has a sink. At the riding area, there is a (water) playground with the finest white sand. Right next to it is where the riding lessons take place. The schedules are posted in the morning for the following day, so you can sign up depending on your skill level; beginners - advanced. For absolute beginners, there are starting lessons with a vaulting strap in the round pen. Riding out into the terrain is also daily. With a pony, you can also take your child out for free across the area. There is also a swimming pool and a kiosk with a roll service from the village baker. The owner and his family are super nice and attentive to the guests. On Saturday, there were free marshmallows by the campfire and lots of laughter. We will definitely come back - already booked for August.

Great riding lessons, the area is just average, a bit like in the Ruhr area community garden association.

No information regarding the riding plans, bike rental is no longer available, only a limited number of people are allowed in the pool and the long-term campers sign up multiple times on the list (max 10 people), so that we tourists have no chance for the pool. We are also not informed when the list is available in the morning. Electricity is also problematic, our air conditioning repeatedly shut off the power. Water can only be taken with containers or watering cans. Wastewater has to be carried away with buckets.

Upon arrival, very friendly reception and introduction. Pitch with electricity and wastewater; size sufficient. Showers and toilets clean, for warm water in the showers you need shower tokens, which must be dropped outside the cabin. Washing area unfortunately not nice and only one available. It should possibly be considered whether the decommissioned kiosk could be converted into a washing house for dishes and laundry. Riding for children directly at the site. Ponies of all sizes available and all very well-behaved. Nice and varied riding lessons, however, the only downside is that you have to sign up on lists. These are posted a day in advance and if you're unlucky, the list is full.

We spent 2 X 5 days here with our horse-loving daughters aged 5 and 8 in a tent on the fruit meadow right next to the horses in the pasture. Almost every day, both had riding lessons. The sanitary facilities are simple, but completely adequate. The pool was great and in the village, there is an absolutely fantastic ice cream parlor. We will definitely come back.

We had a nice short vacation at the Brockmühle campsite. Riding was a lot of fun for our children, we can’t wait to come back. Best regards, Miller :)

Since the showers are not regularly cleaned, are not accessible to disabled individuals, and there is not always a point of contact available when one needs help.
