We had a wonderful time at the Campingpark Berzdorfer See: Pirates Camp & Holiday Park Blue Lagoon. A really beautifully landscaped campsite with large pitches of 120 sqm. Currently, the second washroom is being completed. The first washroom is already really great, always clean and well maintained. Traveling with a dog is uncomplicated and there are many opportunities for walking. The water from the Berzdorf Lake is crystal clear, swimming shoes are recommended as there are many stones in the shore area. The beach is publicly accessible and therefore unfortunately also very crowded, especially on the weekends. What we didn't like was that anyone can access the campsite freely, security needs to be improved, a barrier with license plate recognition and access from the beach need to be secured. There are so many excursions to beautiful cities.

The campsite is nice and clean. Access to the lake is unfortunately only allowed between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. So no coffee at sunrise by the lake. It is also a bit odd that you have to empty the chemical toilet outside at the camper station. Unfortunately, there is no hose available to properly rinse the toilet, just a small water outlet. The information about where people with tents and motorhomes can get fresh water seems to reach only a few, as it is actually also at the waste disposal station for the motorhomes. Otherwise, there is only drinking water at the caravan pitches. This way, the pitches with water continuously receive visits from other guests :) Also, one wishes for a bit more information about prices or procedures at the water park, as discounted rates are available for the individual attractions there. Unfortunately, nothing is posted about it anywhere. The surroundings are very nice; there is much to discover in the immediate vicinity for both the small and the big, even in worse weather.

Nice reception service, large pitches, very child-friendly with table football, trampoline, darts, boules, snooker, and table tennis, football + volleyball field on site. Rolls are available at the beach bath. Campers can access the bathing lake with a wristband through a turnstile. It has excellent clean quality and with stand-up paddling + wakeboarding + water skiing, beach soccer + several beach volleyball courts/footvolley, you don't have to go far for active times. A beautiful cycling route goes past the site. Sanitary facilities were very clean, and there is also ready WLAN available. Unfortunately, the site does not have a camping shop, but the next supermarket is only an 8-minute drive away.
