Top sanitation, top location, top service .... Top Top Top We have been coming regularly to this place for years, just like my parents before and now again my children. Franken in its pure culture, easily reachable by foot to Volkach with its numerous restaurants. But even at the site itself, there is delicious wine on tap at the reception. The Wednesday glass at the fountain in Volkach is a must! Often you can listen to a street musician or a small band at the market square, enjoy a glass and have a good time. Clear recommendation, we will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, no groups are welcome... We were on the campsite for the 4th year, which we actually really "love". During our stay, the owner made it clear to us that we are no longer welcome. We were 3 families with children aged 5-11 years, and at times 2 more families joined for a few nights. We strictly adhered to the midday and evening quiet times, spent quite a bit of money in the expensive shop, and even stood in front of the barrier in the tent area with our caravans. To be able to sit together, we had set up two pavilions, as well as one for the barbecue and the cooking plates. This apparently marred the appearance of the campsite, leading the owner to treat us unfriendly during our stay on several occasions. Too bad... we will not be coming back.

Beautiful place directly by the Main with nice and very clean sanitary facilities and very friendly staff. For the showers, you need to buy tokens from the machine directly in the sanitary building (1€ / 5 min.), Wi-Fi costs 1€ / 24 hrs. / 500Mb, which we found a bit outdated and used our own instead. The bike path runs right by the site and is the ideal starting point for tours in all directions. The pretty little town of Volkach can be reached by bike in 5 minutes, where there is delicious wine everywhere. There is also a beer garden at the site, which we did not visit. We can recommend the place and would come back again.
