Precise allocation of pitches for tents, there is a clear order here! The roll service is punctual. But unfortunately, the showers are not up to date anymore. There are 3 shower cubicles, each without a partition. One must hang their clothes on one of the few hooks in front of the cubicle and then enter the shower cubicle naked. Overall, everything there is quite aged, and the prices are rather bold for these circumstances. Well, the night there during our Ruhr bike tour was bearable. On our 10-day cycling tour along the Ruhr and through the Ruhr area, this campsite was in comparison to all other camps the "last place".

We were at this campsite in November. We can only agree with Rainer's opinion. Great location right by the river. Very nice staff. Only the sanitary building needs to be renovated. It is clean, but it was too cold in the rooms.

The site is quite small (30 pitches), located directly by the river. The sanitary facilities are outdated, but clean. Overall, the pitches are a bit tight. A main road nearby can be heard with appropriate wind, but it's not annoying. Nonetheless, we would come back again and again. This is mainly due to the location and the warmth of the staff and owners. If the sanitary building is renovated, I would give it the fifth star 😉.
