Campingplatz am Waldbad (Neustadt/Harz)

Upon our arrival, we already had the feeling of not being welcomed. This feeling only intensified over the days. The atmosphere was somehow almost eerie. Although the place was quite empty, we were assigned a poorly situated spot. It was quite large. Unfortunately, it was so poorly situated that we left early. We have never felt this uncomfortable in our decades-long camper life. What a pity.

We spent a weekend hiking (Harz Dog Trekking) here. Everything worked out well, everyone was friendly, I can't report anything disturbing. We slept well and felt comfortable.

Cannot quite understand some bad reviews. (Spirit) We were there this Father's Day weekend as well, it was very sweet for everyone, including them :-) Father's Day, after all. Consequently, it was also very well filled. It can occasionally happen that when everyone showers and does the dishes at the same time, it gets a bit colder to shower. The cleanliness is always okay in the toilets (cleaning company every day). Unfortunately, there are also black sheep here (when everyone leaves the toilet or showers as they find them). Big praise to the cook. :-) Always new ideas, new dishes, small snacks. Always happy to come back, dear greetings.

Cold water for showering, cleanliness of the shower cabins is so so. Some permanent campers think they can tell you how to tell things how loud you are allowed to. So it’s very difficult. The only plus for us is that the parking space is very spacious. We won't be coming back, sorry.

Very nice family business, small manageable cozy place, very clean including the sanitary building. Food is also great and there is a small kiosk. The site is right next to the forest pool and Neustadt can also be reached easily on foot.
