Nice Campsite with Very Friendly Reception

The lady at the reception is a very friendly and warm person. The place is very well-maintained. The sanitary facilities may be a bit dated, but everything is always very clean and works well. The nearby highway does not disturb; it was always pleasantly quiet.

Beautiful Days

October 2023

As already written before. Very cordial. The sanitation is older but very clean. Of course, it wasn't fully booked. The long-term campers are nice too. The highway brings in one-night campers. But that doesn't bother us. Here come real motorhome and caravan campers. You feel completely comfortable. The herb garden for all campers is the cherry on top for self-cooks like us. The location is great, both to Saarbrücken and to nearby France. There is a lot of (albeit unspeakable for Germans) history to discover. We can only recommend the place.

Small, very well-kept site with friendly operators

Superb10

Merzen

July 2023

The place (grass) has a very pleasant way of still being a bit 'old-fashioned'. Instead of firmly defined sites, you look for a free area on the large meadows with the operator. Electricity is always nearby, and due to the size, the sanitary facilities are not far away. These are already a bit dated but nonetheless as clean and well-maintained as the whole site. All necessary facilities are available; the reception is also a meeting point and café with a nice selection and drinks at unusually affordable prices. In addition to a bread roll service, a breakfast service is even offered. Those looking for 'Glamping' are out of place here, while those seeking classic camping in a pleasant and well-kept atmosphere are warmly recommended this site.

The Coziest Place

The site is small and manageable. Unbeatable in terms of traffic (3 minutes from the highway, next supermarket 5 minutes). Very nice operators. Sanitary facilities are old but spick and span clean.

Helpful, Very Clean

Anastasja

August 2018

Just before the end of our holiday, we had a breakdown and struggled across the border from France. It was after 11 PM. We had registered by phone; the owner expected us even though it was technically already closed. We even got a beer and were able to order breakfast rolls. The place was in great order, the sanitary facilities were not brand new but top clean. We say thank you once again.
