We rented a small bungalow at Schönsee for four nights and were very enthusiastic about the beautiful landscape, the lake, and the hiking trails with children and two dogs. It is wonderful! The landlords on the site are friendly and helpful as well. The small snack bar has everything you need on vacation. However, the compliments do not apply to the rules around the lake, which prohibit letting the dog run free, going near the water, and declaring barking during play as a disturbance. Rules are good for considering other guests. We took care; we had the dog on a leash, did not go to the water, and made large detours around other visitors. Nevertheless, we were always admonished and pointed out about the rules. Somewhat stressful. The lake and its surroundings captivate with the beautiful nature. It is a pity that even nature causes some annoyance here.
