I can only advise against this campsite! No organization, the allocation of the pitches is a lottery! The sanitary facilities: it couldn't be worse! Additionally, a youth hostel is being built next to the campsite! Don't be fooled by the pictures! A relaxing vacation looks different.

The campsite is simple and picturesque. Very nice, accommodating operators. Well-mixed guests, older folks and entire groups of youth. Several dogs.

Nice and friendly operators, very quiet location. However, the bathrooms are not for everyone (four showers in a common room with little storage space)

I should have listened to my gut feeling, because after looking at the homepage, I felt rather negative. The place has such a nice location, and so much could be done with it, but... unfortunately, one gets the feeling of being rather unwelcome. Unfriendliness, suddenly the power is out because maintenance has to be done here (could have been communicated in advance). Mold in the bathrooms and so on. Very unfortunate!

We were there for 5 weeks, it was great. The staff is in good spirits. The place is well-kept, the sanitary facilities super clean. We were there for the 3rd time and are going back next year. It was also great for our dog, there is a big dog beach. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

We spent four nights at this campsite. We cannot understand the classification "Quiet at night." The nearby highway A38 was clearly audible. In addition, there was nighttime aircraft noise since there is no nighttime flight ban in Leipzig. However, on two nights, the highway and airplanes were clearly drowned out by partying groups. After a short night with noise disturbances until 1 a.m., we actually wanted to move, but then stayed because the loud group left. Unfortunately, a newly arrived group made it even worse. There was no thought of sleep before 3 a.m. Complaints to the party-goers were futile. Comment from the management: "If you can't handle this, you shouldn't camp." The mention in the campsite rules about quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. sounds like a mockery.

The site is worth a maximum of 1 star. No trees and rock-hard ground. Only a few campers with tents had shade. The sanitary facilities are just okay. The showers are of lower category. No shelf or shower rod in the shower, and it's tiny. At least everything was clean. The owner is not reachable until 10 AM and is unfriendly. Overall, the tone here is rough, which we are not used to. The electrical installation at the site, better not to look at. The dishwashing sinks are outdoors and uninviting. The chemical toilet is just a hole in the ground at the site, etc. For 2 people, we paid 34€ per day!!! 24€ would probably be the appropriate price.

There is only a food service, nothing more. The ADAC card is advertised at the counter, but when asked, it is dismissed. The showers are from the fifties. The disposal of the chemical toilet is a basin in the ground with a water connection. The site does not deserve two stars.
