What a disappointment
I should have listened to my gut feeling, because after looking at the homepage, I felt rather negative. The place has such a nice location, and so much could be done with it, but... unfortunately, one gets the feeling of being rather unwelcome. Unfriendliness, suddenly the power is out because main… More

We will never return to this campsite.
We spent four nights at this campsite. We cannot understand the classification "Quiet at night." The nearby highway A38 was clearly audible. In addition, there was nighttime aircraft noise since there is no nighttime flight ban in Leipzig. However, on two nights, the highway and airplanes were clear… More

One time and never again
The site is worth a maximum of 1 star. No trees and rock-hard ground. Only a few campers with tents had shade. The sanitary facilities are just okay. The showers are of lower category. No shelf or shower rod in the shower, and it's tiny. At least everything was clean. The owner is not reachable unti… More

Unfriendly
There is only a food service, nothing more. The ADAC card is advertised at the counter, but when asked, it is dismissed. The showers are from the fifties. The disposal of the chemical toilet is a basin in the ground with a water connection. The site does not deserve two stars.

Campsite for a stopover or extended weekend
The campsite itself is beautifully located, but it requires some improvements. The pitches are extremely small, especially for camper vans, awnings, and it gets tight with the car. No bread roll service, which is a shame.... The showers and the entrance still have an Eastern style. Time seems to hav… More

Not Recommended!
We arrived at the site we found online after a long journey back from vacation at 7:00 PM. The gentleman who agreed to allow us a spot at this late hour first gave a long lecture about how it was actually supposed to close at 6:00 PM. One has to think of the campsite operators as well... When I aske… More

Quiet Location
We traveled as a small group with a baby and three adults. The campsite is quietly located (despite the highway being 300m away and the flight path of Leipzig/Halle airport). The pitches are all laid out on level ground and are not strictly separated. The ground is mostly grass. Tent pitches (with c… More

A Little Meager
Dry, hard ground, sanitary facilities at the lower level and a dishwashing area that is covered but otherwise outdoors and only has a hot water tap. All of this is expandable, especially when looking at the prices, which are not cheap. However, the restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices an… More
