This is really nice camping. It's the 2nd time we've been here. It has improved significantly. It is clean, somewhat old in some places. But really beautiful spots. There are sites for dogs and ones without. We didn't see a single pile. So, great! Highly recommended for a weekend trip.

The lake would be quite beautiful if dog owners didn’t illegally walk their dogs there and if they didn’t also let their dogs urinate on the children’s playground equipment!! The showers are about 40 years old and 50% of them are locked and unusable (just for your information, only 2 showers were available)! The rest have water that is sometimes too hot and sometimes too cold; maybe the operator should think about renovating! My husband said that there is still asbestos in the ceiling of the bathroom, and long-term exposure to steam can loosen harmful substances! Unbelievable! There are definitely better places with top-notch bathrooms that are also cheaper. Completely unsuitable for families. More suited for retirees with motorhomes who can also shower in their motorhomes. At the site itself, there is only a bathing jetty, the water is immediately deep, very dangerous for smaller children. Otherwise, there are no attractions for kids; the playground is not visible as it is located behind the reception. The reception is poorly staffed; it was never possible to reach someone immediately.

Good signage, easy to find, Calm atmosphere, Great varied food in the restaurant Everything works great with the caretaker Small beach section, could have more sand The lake has wonderful quality, spring water rated 1.5 is also graded The lake is divided In front for guests to swim and relax, one side for anglers, one side for permanently placed campers, still as a guest you can take a walk around the lake About 600 meters away there is a parking space for motorhomes and holiday homes, a small village with shopping opportunities, for example if you want to grill. Playground directly at the lake, in summer you don't have to go to the restaurant because there's a snack bar right on the beach, no the smell does not bother Many parking spaces available also for larger vehicles If you want to celebrate a family party, you can rent a barbecue hut for about 50 - 60 people with its own section for swimming and possibly camping.

The campsite at Jümmer Lake offers something for young and old. There is a playground with a bathing beach right by the lake and the option to explore the surroundings by boat (paddle and pedal) or by bike (beautiful cycling paths). The site can even be reached by boat. The area is relatively large and divided into transient and permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are clean, but a bit dated. There is a restaurant with a buffet etc. and a kiosk at the site, shopping is sufficiently possible in the nearby town. You have to bring your own toilet paper, but this is the case at several campsites and is also fine. Better than eternally clogged toilets because someone is "playing" with the toilet paper. Fishing in the lake is allowed, and you can reach the fishing spots on foot. All in all, one can endure well here, and the surrounding towns are very nice and accessible by car and bus. The coast is also not too far away...

Those expecting luxury are in the wrong place. It is a cozy, quiet, somewhat older campsite, beautifully located and has everything one needs for camping. The sanitary facilities are a bit older but top clean and well maintained. The lake and the small beach with playground are great and the small river on the other side of the road is idyllic. The restaurant is OK, and in the surrounding area within a maximum of 10 KM, you can find everything needed for living. The caretaker is nice and has everything under control in a very pleasant manner. No traffic noise, pure nature. If every camper adheres to this, one can truly unwind from the stress of everyday life. Exactly the right place if you want to escape the daily grind and can overlook the small things. Camping, after all. Not perfect, but that’s what makes it appealing. I thought it was great and will permanently park my caravan there.

Sometimes you need a lot of cables to get electricity, especially after you've fought your way through spider webs to reach the power outlet. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean, but the showers are far too cramped and also lack storage options and hardly any hooks. Charging 50 cents for this and requiring guests to bring their own toilet paper is outrageous. The restaurant is quite decent, the food very good, but even there are corners you’d prefer not to look at.
