Campsite Intro
About
The campsite at Drewensee impresses with its quiet, secluded location directly on the eponymous Drewensee lake in the Mecklenburg Lake District.
The rural surroundings with meadows and forests invite you to go on active excursions on foot or by bike. A bathing jetty and a jetty await guests at the lake. Boats can be hired directly on site. The pitches on the small and cosy site are spread across a natural meadow area. The nearest town, Wesenberg, is 7 kilometres away. There is a children's playground for the little ones and a volleyball court for active guests.
Very quiet and tidy campsite by the lake, which also has a lot to offer water sports enthusiasts.

A beautiful place for everyone who loves peace and nature! The location right by Lake Drewensee is simply dreamlike – you wake up in the morning and hear only the birds and the gentle splashing of the water. I particularly enjoyed the proximity to nature; here you can really unwind. The site is perfect for long walks, bike rides, and canoe trips. If you like it quiet and want to experience the Mecklenburg Lake District, you are absolutely right here. I will definitely come back!

The place and the lake are very beautiful. The sanitary facilities are very good. In the small shop, there is actually everything you need as a camper. The playground for the little ones is great. Unfortunately, the campsite is very cramped and you have to stand very close together, so you could hear your neighbors snoring at night.😏 The bathing beach is quite small and is of course frequented by children during the day. I didn't feel like getting in between. It was a shame that there was no Wi-Fi throughout the campsite and that you couldn't pay anywhere with an EC card or similar.

We are very pleased with the beautiful location. The area is small but nice. What is no less important is that the operators are very friendly and helpful. For water hikers and also for "forest and meadow hikers" it is a little paradise. We will definitely come back.

The site, as well as the modern sanitary facilities, are very clean. For fishing, even with a boat, Lake Drewn is simply a dream. Anyone looking for a relaxing spot is exactly right here. Moreover, the operators are not only helpful but also very friendly. From our perspective, a top site!!!

The campsite at Drewensee is highly recommended. It is a small site with a mini supermarket and a snack bar. You can also rent a canoe or kayak. Bicycles without motors are also available for rent. The managers are very nice and always helpful! The sanitary facilities are very good and always very clean. We thank you for a great week. Angelika Kienle and Volker Weber.

Beautiful Place

a very nice place, we had free choice of where we wanted to stand, there are no plots. We chose the area between the large trees, which was very pleasant in the heat. Toilets and washing facilities are top-notch and very clean. ONLY the quiet hours are not taken very seriously here, there is a barrier - but it has been broken for 9 months. Whether at 6:00 AM or at 1:30 PM there is a lot of traffic (almost only permanent campers) on the site. Even after 10:00 PM, there are still cars. This should be addressed as it significantly disturbs the peace that usually prevails on the site. I spoke to the manager about it - he said he would pass it on, but nothing happened during our stay.

More info about Campingpark Drewensee
If you feel at home in nature, the campsite on Lake Drewen is just the place for you. The idyllic holiday site is located directly on the shores of Lake Drewen and has its own jetty, a bathing jetty and offers an entertaining leisure programme.
Cosy 3.5-star campsite for a relaxing holiday by the lake
In the south of the Mecklenburg Lake District, not far from the small town of Wesenberg and nestled in a landscape of water, meadows and forests, the campsite on Lake Drewensee is particularly popular with those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. With only around five hectares, it is a manageable holiday destination where holidaymakers quickly develop a friendly, family atmosphere. Most of the pitches are parcelled out and are between 100 and 180 square metres in size. Dogs are also very welcome at the campsite on Lake Drewen. Designated as a water hiking rest area, guests also have the option of mooring their own boat at the jetty, subject to availability. Even without a watercraft, holidaymakers are mobile on Lake Drewen thanks to boat hire directly on site. Two bathing areas and the two jetties also offer ideal access to the lake for anyone who wants to splash around and swim. The children's playground and beach volleyball court are in the immediate vicinity of the boat and bathing jetty. A few steps to the north is the main building complex with a snack bar, sanitary facilities and reception. The small shop with baked goods and everyday items is also located here. For larger purchases, we recommend travelling to Wesenberg, where the castle of the same name is also worth a visit.
