Long, stretched-out meadow area with rows of deciduous trees, partly tiered, partly flat, on the banks of the Sauer river. Located near the former manor house Altschmiede. Busy road on the opposite bank of the river.

Had a bad experience.
The campsite is very spacious, the sanitation facilities were dirty, and apart from the roll service, there is no shop. The nearest shopping opportunity is far away.

We had a very nice stay at this campground. The site is very spacious, child- and dog-friendly. Right by the water (Sauer River), you can enjoy great canoeing tours. We were guests at the campsite in the summer. The swimming pool is unique with its three super water slides. The provision of rolls in the morning and snacks in the evening was good. We were there last week and very disappointed. The website led us to expect more. The sanitation building was in poor condition and often unused. Showers could only be taken with cold water.
