Access route
Continue on the B51 towards Bitburg. After about 300 m, turn towards Trierweiler and then towards Metzdorf. Alternatively, take the B418 as signposted.

Nature-friendly campsite between Trier and Luxembourg.
Simple campsite located directly on the Sauer River. Many opportunities for cycling, hiking, or sightseeing. Opposite is a fairly busy road. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Dogs are very welcome, but we as non-dog owners also felt very comfortable.

The place is quite nice, located directly by the Sauer. There are parking spaces for holiday guests directly by the river and they are sufficiently large (slight slope towards the river).
