Beautiful place at Staffelsee

We stayed there for one night in a camper van. We were received very kindly and friendly. We were offered several spots to choose from, unfortunately, the pitches are very uneven. Wedges were not quite enough. For this reason, we continued traveling after one night. The sanitary facilities are okay, clean. Showers operate with a coin machine: 50 cents per shower. You can pre-order rolls at the bistro and pick them up in the morning. There’s also a restaurant at the bistro (Greek, but also schnitzel), we were in the cozy beer garden.

The campsite has a great location right by the lake. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities are good and clean, and during the restrictions caused by COVID-19, they reach their limits during peak times. For water sports, cycling, and hiking, the campsite is an ideal starting point.

Beautifully situated on the edge of the Murnauer Moos. Cycling, hiking, and swimming. It can't get any better. Sanitary facilities are very clean. The only downside: shower for a fee. But that is manageable. Friendly staff at the reception. We would love to come back.

The surroundings are beautiful, and if you are lucky, you get a nice spot with a great view. The sanitary facilities are good too! Would come again.

You don't need to write much about the Staffelsee region; a quick Google search for "the blue land" suffices. Great nature and hiking/recreational opportunities. There is also a campsite, cozy right by Lake Staffelsee with direct access to the lake, modern sanitary facilities, friendly reception, delicious Greek camping restaurant, etc. Although there is no pool and no children's entertainment, the lake makes up for it with its diverse opportunities. We are already looking forward to it...!
