Campingplatz Ahlden

Beautifully located campsite on the old Leine river with enough space for a medium-sized caravan, including a second car on the site. Very friendly and accommodating staff with a bread roll service delivered to the pitch. Shower times use tokens, which cost €0.50 for 4 minutes.

We use this place for a visit to Serengeti Park. Very nice owner, well-kept site. The owner brings breakfast rolls to the motorhome... never experienced that before 👌 Small restaurant with moderate prices. Sanitary facilities a bit dated but clean at all times.

A really beautiful place. Very nice hosts. Sanitary facilities could be renewed. Showers with children can be challenging. Otherwise, everything you need is on site.

Was there in August 2021 in a rental caravan, very quiet for relaxing, nice operators, rolls are brought to the awning in the morning, that's how you start the day well Especially at the small beach, canoeing, etc. included in the price, kids had a lot of fun. Sanitary facilities also very clean. Will come back this year...

We were very impressed with the friendliness right from the initial contact. We were advised in a friendly and competent manner. Upon arrival, the reception was warm. When setting up our caravan, we received enthusiastic support (the owner even helps out himself here ;)). The assigned spot was more than sufficient for our caravan (5.70 m), our car (5 m), and our entire outdoor setup. You can quickly get used to the service of having fresh, delicious bakery rolls delivered to your caravan in the morning. The small beach that belongs to the campsite surprised us with the free offer of small boats for children, 3 stand-up paddleboards, and even a canoe for adults. The campsite is located near many great recreational activities, such as Serengeti Park, Heide Park, or the Walsrode Bird Park. We can also recommend the barefoot park in Egestorf. The gastronomy also affiliated with the campsite was cozy and reasonably priced. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated but clean and well-maintained. The permanent campers on the site are just like permanent campers are ;) they greet you and are also ready for a small talk. Short conclusion after many words: We will gladly come back.

We have been to this beautiful quiet campsite several times. The kids are happy about the little beach and are content. The washing facilities are not the most modern, but sufficient. Exactly the right place to relax for a few days.

Those seeking peace, a place where the children are well taken care of, are exactly right here. The operator is also super nice and especially flexible. Great prices come on top.

From the registration to departure everything was perfect! It was my first time at this site and I felt like I had been coming here for years. Everything very clean. Friendly and good civic gastronomy on site.
