Ines and Thomas Booked from 20.05 to 02.06.2026. We are at the campsite for the second time and are very satisfied. We have a nice spot in the second row with a view of Plauer Lake. The camping team is very friendly and helpful. The site is well-kept and partially demarcated. There is a small shop where you can order bread rolls online. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy, and cleaned multiple times a day. There is a small bistro with a good price-performance ratio. We can highly recommend the Camping Park.

We visited this beautiful campsite in September 2025. Since we had already spent our holidays there several times, first with the Klappfix, then with log cabins and now with our caravan, we have witnessed many changes and improvements. The sanitary buildings are very clean and modern. The ordering and picking up of the rolls works great. Special praise for the staff, who are always very friendly and helpful with requests.

We had an unforgettable time at the Zuruf campsite. We were guests at the campsite for 4 weeks and had a nice pitch almost by the water. Everything we wished for was made possible at the reception. The two ladies at the reception are incredibly nice and always help with advice and assistance. We often think back to the lovely holiday and we definitely weren’t the last guests at the Zuruf campsite. We have rested excellently.

Our 2nd visit to the campsite, unfortunately also the last

After our 1st stay during the Corona times, we wanted to give the place a 2nd chance. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The site is very beautiful with direct access to the lake. The bistro "Redpoint" is not cheap, but the food is very tasty. The shower area was clean. However, repairs (loose shelves/missing shower head) took 3-4 days. The washing machines were very poorly maintained. Furthermore, it cannot be that the bistro staff disturb the night’s peace with music and loud entertainment in the evenings after closing. Additionally, the reception staff always seemed annoyed when you wanted something from them. This started already at check-in. If the operators invested money and above all heart and soul, it could become a great place. A place managed without love and frugally, with much room for improvement.

Not for dog owners, crooked neglected pitch

As dog owners, we were banished to the farthest corner of the campsite. The pitch was so crooked and uneven that the caravan couldn't be leveled despite ramps. The comfort pitch is about 30 cm below the level of the path... which we bitterly noticed in the rain... a comfort mud hole with a view and smell of the green waste container. We did a lot locally to be as little by the camper as possible... at the camper, we had already been able to experience the mini excavator and the vibrating plate live on Thursday before Pentecost to finish the pitches for Pentecost... when asked how long this construction would last, we were told only today... unfortunately, that wasn't true... Friday was the turn of the neighboring pitch... same story... no chance to get to the lake with the dog. No bins for dog waste bags. Never again! Wifi for a fee, but great snack.

As dog owners, we were banished to the back corner of the campsite. The pitch was so crooked and slanted that the caravan could not be leveled despite ramps. The comfort pitch is about 30 cm below the level of the path... which we also bitterly noticed in the rain... we had a comfort mud pit there with a view and the wafting smell from the green waste container of the permanent campers. We did a lot on site to be as little as possible at the camper... at the camper, we even got to experience the mini excavator and the vibrating plate live on Thursday before Pentecost to finish the pitches for Pentecost... when asked how long this construction site would last, we were told, just today... that was unfortunately not correct... Friday it was the neighboring pitch's turn... same movie... mini excavator back and forth, back and forth... never again!

We spent 3 weeks at this campsite by Plauer Lake. We really enjoyed our time there. Especially the short walk to the lake was perfect. Various entertainment options were offered for children. On weekends, there was live music for the adults. I highly recommend this place. Thanks to all the staff for the wonderful holiday.

Very nice campsite at Plauer Lake. Small beach directly by the lake. We bought a sup board and had endless fun. Well suited for families with children as there were many activities offered for kids. For adults, there was live music on the weekends. We felt very comfortable there for three weeks. Thank you very much for the lovely vacation to the entire staff.

More info about Campingpark Zuruf
Zuruf Camping Park is located in a wooded area in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District and offers camping enthusiasts a wonderful bathing oasis. Families and active holidaymakers in particular feel at home in the holiday village, as children's games, boating and excursions are on offer.
Campsite with its own lakeside beach
The campsite is located on a wooded headland on the western shore of Lake Plau, where visitors can access the cool waters via the campsite's own sandy beach. The shore is fine sandy and slopes gently so that even the little ones can splash around in the water. Those who want to enjoy a sunbath after swimming can spread out their towel on the sunbathing lawn. Hobby anglers can cast a line into the tree-framed Plötzensee lake behind the Zuruf camping park and wait in idyllic tranquillity for perch, pike, carp and zander to bite. Most of the 145 pitches for holidaymakers are arranged along the lakeshore and offer a view of the sparkling water. The pitches for holidaymakers with dogs are located at the back at the edge of the forest. The 'Bunter Hund' marquee attracts children every day with activities such as making lanterns and dream catchers or printing T-shirts with potato moulds. In the evening, there are film screenings for the kids and then disco parties for adults. Zuruf Camping Park also has a jetty where rowing boats, pedalos and licence-free sports motorboats can be hired. Active holidaymakers can also enjoy a game of table tennis, badminton or beach volleyball. Many guests hire bikes at the campsite and follow the Lake Plau cycle path, which leads around the lake and can be explored on a day trip.
