Beautiful, well-maintained campsite. Quiet and idyllic. Baude is a great place with super delicious food. Unfortunately, we had 3 rainy days. Recommended. When the site is full, the sanitary areas and washing-up facilities are a bit cramped.

We were there this weekend and yes, the negative reviews regarding the owner made me cautious. But to be honest, he has his way of doing things and not everyone has to deal with that. The eye for detail regarding the condition of the campsite is simply TOP. You can't get more than that. Everything is clean, well-maintained, the food is great, and the view is priceless. The tranquility is incredible. There are rules and that is a good thing, it allows young and old to camp together. The pitches are clean and well-defined, whether you come with a tent, caravan, or motorhome. Even the cabins for rent there are a dream. The showers are not super modern, but the cleanliness is unbeatable, and even the toilets don't smell because an air freshener is constantly in operation. Anyone who complains here should not go camping.

The campsite is very well equipped and well located, antisocial behavior of the older man at the reception. Unfriendliness is highly valued and practiced here. He seems overwhelmed. Questions are answered curtly, and I perceive the behavior towards women as hostile. Restaurant, site, and facilities are great, it's clean.

If we had only dealt with the junior contact, the review would have been better. He is very friendly and helpful. Due to the previous reviews, I was already prepared for the senior. We had booked 2 nights with late departure. The reception was... well, let's leave it at that. The paths are very narrow on the campsite. Water and gray water disposal not at the pitch. No information on where to find fresh water. I was handed a brochure with the words: read! The sanitary facilities were partly clean but aging. The water in the showers was very cold for a long time. The lake is beautiful. We had a restricted view of the lake. What really annoyed me: checking out. I took my little son to the reception to check out. We were accused of booking 3 nights. In fact, it was 2 nights. We were allegedly told upon arrival that we wanted to stay for an additional night. I don't have dementia yet... and the booking confirmation said something different. The senior first lit a little cigarette (I smoke myself, but not in a closed room when my son is present. So I had to send the little one outside first). The junior was called. As I said, I was extremely cautious about what I said and I believe no one should be afraid of anyone. The tone became steadily louder, not from me. We are on vacation. In the end, we paid 140 euros for 2 overnight stays in our own caravan (including a late departure of 30 euros). That was a record in 2 years. I found it super cheeky that an additional 2.50 euros were charged because we paid by card. I do not believe that the guests in the adjacent building had to pay this fee. We have visited more than 30 campsites so far, but we have never experienced such unfriendliness and unpleasant atmosphere, especially for the price. It's a pity, we don't live far away, but never again. One good thing is that the site is car-free. Oh, by the way, internet only works with d1. You can book internet on the site, but it is unreasonably expensive.

The campsite itself is well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly. Unfortunately, the owner significantly clouds the overall picture with his rude behavior. Particularly when he works in the restaurant, unpleasant interactions can be expected. The restaurant's kitchen is excellent, but the experience is marred by the owner's rude comments. One example: In response to a polite inquiry about a beer order, we were told: "I know how to do it quickly, you get the beer yourselves." We certainly will not visit this campsite again.

A very nicely laid out place that is kept clean by the many hard-working staff. I spent a week there in good weather. The peace is just perfect for unwinding. The possibilities on the site include swimming in the lake, hiking, cycling, and for those who want action, there is a water ski facility. The sanitary facilities are of course only as clean as the visitors leave them. During my stay, there was no reason to complain about the condition. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I can only say about the boss that they aren’t always in a good mood! The restaurant on-site is highly recommended, top quality, a very rare good quality and tasty food for a restaurant on a campsite, and here too, the staff should be praised. All in all, a good place and very good location. Even my four-legged companion has a clear recommendation.

This place features a beautiful location with a direct view of the lake and a clean ambiance. The pitches are arranged in terraces. The higher pitches are very far from the central building. The sanitary facilities are very good and are cleaned frequently and thoroughly. There is a microwave and 2 hot plates (usage is free) in the dishwashing room. The pitch prices are reasonable. However, electricity is expensive (€0.90/kWh + €3.50 connection fee). The prices in the lodge/restaurants are also rather high. The village is 2 km away - ideal with an e-bike (as it is slightly hilly). Mobile reception = zero. Wi-Fi is available but very expensive (300 mb = €5). The operators are friendly and helpful.

The site is very well-kept and beautifully terraced. There is a bathing opportunity and water skiing. The dining options on the premises are also good. There were event days with stone oven pizza and BBQ. That was really great. You can enjoy nice hiking and appreciate nature there. The bathrooms are also impeccable. The junior manager was always helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the senior manager. Very rough and direct. There are many certificates for "tourism" training hanging at the reception from about 15 years ago. I had the impression that the senior forgot what he learned. Seriously, I wouldn't hang such old certificates up. Two examples: 1. We were at the site for a long weekend with 2 families. We even had a meal at the restaurant on-site. We generated revenue during our stay. When making the reservation, my sister-in-law registered our youngest (1 year old) as a regular child. But small children are still free of charge. Upon pointing out our mistake, the senior said he couldn't change it because of the tax office. 2. After we left the site promptly at departure and returned our chip cards, we asked if it would be possible to have a chip card briefly again. It was very hot and the kids wanted to have a quick dip in the water (it is only possible to do so with a chip card). There was no one at the water. However, the senior denied the request, stating that we could book a half day. Sorry, but that's not acceptable. We spent a good amount of money there with two families. I wonder if we would have received the card to go back to the washroom to use the toilet. We were really very friendly. I don't understand this. Tourism is not the right field for the senior here.

The comfortable camping park Wiesenbeker Teich is located in the middle of a nature reserve that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition to its natural location, the campsite also offers a child-friendly atmosphere and a wide range of leisure activities for an unforgettable relaxing and active holiday with the family.
The campsite, which is open all year round and also welcomes dogs, offers plenty of space with a total area of 10 hectares. The 60 pitches for holidaymakers, 40 of which are parcelled out, are between 80 m² and 100 m² in size. Well-maintained sanitary facilities, an available WLAN connection as well as water and electricity connections ensure a comfortable stay. The campsite stands out in particular due to its extremely quiet atmosphere with no through traffic and its beautiful location with a view of the lake. Nevertheless, there is a playground for children and a volleyball court where young and old can let off steam. One of the highlights, however, is the directly accessible bathing lake, which even has drinking water quality. On the 60 metre long sandy beach, you can spend a wonderful day on the lake, especially when the weather is fine. Boats can even be hired if required. The kiosk offers a selection of snacks and drinks as well as a morning bread roll service. The adjoining Wiesenbek Baude restaurant serves rustic classics with a modern twist for culinary delights. The area around the campsite is ideal for an extensive hike or cycle tour. The Kirchberg thermal spa, 2 kilometres away, is also extremely popular and is worth a visit in any weather with its well-tempered thermal pools, saunas and other wellness treatments.
