You can enter until 12:00 AM through an automatic barrier and pay the next morning before departure.

Easy access, the campsite has a transit area, arrival possible until midnight. Directly on the Main cycle path, sanitary facilities were clean, showers to be used with coins. Playground for the children.

Nicely located, great large spots

Well located in relation to the highway. Terribly poor campsite.

Friendly reception, great tent meadow with covered seating area, power and refrigerator, main view included. Good food, I felt very comfortable.

A great campsite, very nice reception, even without a reservation in high season. Everything is clean, prices are completely fine. Restaurant is good and friendly, but you should reserve a table for the evening. We would love to come back.

Friendly and polite reception, good instructions, nice meadow pitches by the Main / near the Main, very well-maintained. Close to power and water connections. Sanitary facilities are tiptop, clean, with checks during the day (showers: €0.50 for 3 minutes, water is enough for washing hair). Entry/exit (during opening hours) via license plate recognition. Small shop, roll service. Gastro "Försterklause": good menu, also delicious local beer (Distelhäuser), large portions, reasonable prices, friendly service. - A good starting point to Wertheim and Taubertal, into the Spessart ... or to Würzburg. Wertheim Village is almost reachable on foot.

Actually a good idea: an extra short-term spot where travelers can stay for a night. It is good that you can arrive later, as the short-term spot is secured by an extra barrier. Therefore, we used the spot as well. One negative point is that there are no sanitary buildings, and you have to walk to the main site each time. The sanitary facilities are sometimes also overcrowded. Cleanliness also leaves much to be desired. There is a beer garden at the site that was very busy, and therefore we did not use it either. The nearby highway is disruptive for those spots that are closer to it. What is absolutely unacceptable, and therefore the rating is very poor, is the absolutely unprofessional and unfriendly behavior of the operators/staff. I am not surprised to read that they have been accused of racism in another contribution here. Unfortunately, this made our stay very unpleasant. Since it seems that one does not feel welcome here as a person (it is obviously only about the money they bring), we would not return to this site.
