I camped at the Campingpark Waldwiesen from September to October 2018 and walked daily to Idar-Oberstein. The site is very well laid out for transportation access (bus, car, bike paths). Shopping opportunities are just 5 minutes away. For horse enthusiasts, the first opportunity is 3 minutes away. The camping area is clean and well-equipped for a month of staying there. The owner is very positive, solution-oriented, and always helpful. The area is excellent for hiking (National Park), cycling (slightly hilly), and sightseeing (e.g. the gemstone region - Idar Oberstein). The air has very good quality. The fruit orchards are unbeatable. Many water springs can also be found here (iron, mineral water springs). The cinema and sailing opportunities can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

Small, simple campsite, about 5 km to Lake Constance, many nice paths to walk around the site, very dog-friendly (dog playground with toys for dogs, always fresh water), nice operators, bread roll service, organic store, delicious pizzeria nearby
